Chapitre 5: World Building
The X-Men is a new elite special ops unit stationed to deal with mutant threats in America (just America explained later). This is the present day and all previous continuity is not canon in this universe. Mutants and all mutant affiliated teams exist (X-Men, Brotherhood, Hellfire Club, Morlocks, etc..) but Avengers and other super teams do not. To make this world simpler all powers are based in the X-Gene, advanced technology exists but no magic or powers through radiation or non-mutant means exist. There are also no aliens or cosmic beings (I'm looking at you Phoenix force no one who dies is coming back through your bullshit) because that is overly complicated and I don't want to deal with it. Another rule of this universe if someone dies they are not coming back If I want to kill someone they stay dead. Lastly, FUCK THE INHUMANS.
