Nick, the Emperor of Conley, sat in his chambers reading the letter detailing the situation in the Demogus region. He knew that the economic instability brought by the Ancorna occupation of the area would eventually lead to an uprising, but he never expected it to happen so soon. As he read further, he realized that the Demogus army was not only rising up against Ancorna but also opening up a path for the Westrosian and Conley armies to advance.

Nick saw this as an opportunity to not only rid the region of Ancorna but also to gain a stronger foothold in the area. However, he knew that the Demogus army's cooperation would be crucial in achieving this goal. As such, he forwarded the message to Westrosia, hoping that they would agree to some form of cooperation.
