Elizabeth stood up to leave.

"I'll investigate this. Don't go too far. I won't bail you out."

She quickly left.

Korede shook his head and turned back to the lake.

He wasn't particularly surprised about her reaction. He did wonder what news she received though.

"She could've at least given me a lift."

He sighed.

He looked out at the calm waters. His usually turbulent mind found its calm.

Some unknown time later, Alpha Zero's unique electronic voice sounded on the earbud in his ear.

GODFATHER, THE OTHERS ARE READY.

"Copy that. Thanks Zero."

Korede stood up to leave.
