But I loved her for it. I loved her tenacity and drive and utter unshakable willpower that leached into everyone around her, including myself.

If, by the grace of Lycaon himself, this curse could be broken and I could live as a free man untethered from ancient magic, well… she would be the true leader of my village and my home, of my life, and my heart.
