This so interesting to read , finally a good read after a long time. Also I like monster protagonists but kindly don't give him a human form and even if you want to delay it as much as possible. I like the fell of a mile long snake wriggling through and striking terror🤣🤣🤣

Basically this is “I’m a spider, so what?” But is a snake version. The title and synopsis are basically the same. Both are the weakest creature born from insanely powerful monsters that evolves into overpower beings.

The quality of the story isn't bad, but it honestly can read rather strangely at times. The MC is quite weird and sometimes doesn't really feel like a character. The narration is mostly alright. but it focuses WAY too much on other things. Half the time it constantly shifts to other perspectives just to dump some unimportant lore or details that most people forget after the next chapter.

I started this without thinking much but I am already absorbed in the story. Mr snake here has a great personality that helps him go through hell in a funny way. Review for chapter up to 81 Interesting story concept, from the beginning to the middle I read it also interesting, until this mommy and daddy issues appeared. Seriously, why did he suddenly become so sentimental towards the snake that gave birth to him?? And even worse his daddy issues, he became very, very sentimental towards his 'father', who he never even met, to the point where he really considered them his real 'parents', giving very valuable things without hesitation to his 'father'. Honestly I am very disturbed by how the mc behaves towards his 'parents'. Besides that, in terms of writing, there are some problems too. - Sudden change of pov. - Unclear who is speaking. - Messy and unclear sound effects like explosion, burning etc. - Lack of explanation of the power system in this world, do the inhabitants of this world adopt the same power system that the mc has? Such as level, title, skill, traits etc. Although from the conversation between the mc and pelerian it is explained vaguely. Overall: 3.4

The protagonist's journey as a snake is unique and keeps me hooked with every chapter. LION does an amazing job at world-building and making the characters relatable despite the unusual premise. My review as of chapter 98. I’ll start off by saying despite it’s flaws, this story is a relaxed and charming read that I do not regret starting in the first place. It will remind you obviously of the famous novel“I’m a spider so what” but with a less cohesive story and much more wish fulfillment. I do not make this review because I dislike the story but from a place of constructive criticism because I actually do LIKE this story and so I’ll list the pros first. PROS +chapter length ++Eastern cultivation-esque humor +MC(to a degree) +++Chad Pelerian(Pet/Mentor) +Power system +Monster Characters +The Plot(partially) +unique fights(partially) If you only care that a story makes just enough sense for it to technically work and plot holes dont bother you much then the pros should be enough for you to know if you will enjoy or not. Now onto my gripes with the novel with mild spoilers. The first issue is right at the beginning when the MC chooses his starting stats. Everything is seemingly fine even though he CHOOSES to have average luck (slightly below average i.e. 9/20). However, despite his CHOICE to have average luck a miraculous situation (that he didn’t plan or work for) ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS occurs to benefit him in the best way possible. I honestly didn’t mind it at first as having average luck doesn’t mean fortunate things cannot happen to you but again I must stress that losing or suffering is not synonymous with this MC. This quite possibly might be my only true problem with the story as all the questionable events that take place are a direct effect of MC’s insane luck (NOT HARD WORK). For example how he even aquires his Mentor/ guide Pelerian in the first place has 5-7 CONSECUTIVE luck based events that ALL happen to benefit and ONLY benefit MC despite multiple other characters being involved. Hopefully other people noticed and maybe the author cares enough to address or remedy it in a future chapter (as it’s possible to fix) but the damage is already done.
