I was about to ask Severus the questions booming in my head at once but he was already speaking.

"I was once a magical lion creature… one who was greedy for knowledge so I came into this library to steal knowledge for power"

My eyes widened.

"You could say I was one of the unwanted beings I told you about"

"He let you live?" That was my first question because I knew how he spoke of unwanted beings and knowing William he would have taken care of him without so much as having a second thought.

"Yes, surprisingly enough… I was lucky, I came here for power but when I saw power itself I became humble, realizing my mistake. The Master gave me a human body with an ancient spell known as 'The Blessing'..."

"The Blessing?"

He nods. "As I said, it is an ancient spell and very powerful. Now I'm what you call a werelion now, a shifter that can take the form of a lion if I so pleased"
