Chapitre 7: Chapter 6: Preparation for the entrance exam
The days passed quickly after showing Reiko and Yui my quirk at its maximum range until the last day of school arrived, leaving aside that this was a relatively quiet year, the 10-month period would begin for students who want to be heroes to train to take the different exams at hero academies in the country or abroad.
The main academy in Japan was the UA, leaving aside the rest that received the weakest candidates who could not enter with the entrance exam, the best facilities and resources for training were in that place, so it is understandable that the main plot of My Hero Academia takes place there.
As I remember, this year's exam had the written test that was something that was done every year, and the practical test that year was made with robots to obtain points that would allow a total of 36 students to enter the hero course with 4 recommended students, leaving two classes of the hero course with 20 students.
Leaving that aside I can say that my appearance has changed quite a bit in these last few years, my pale yellow hair I let grow a little longer letting it fall to my shoulders, my eyes with the same peculiarity of being of different colors looking like a rainbow, my skin tone being a little less pale than before, but still paler than normal people, and my height having reached 162 centimeters or my features letting me look a little younger than my real age.
-Shinzen, come on we can go now - Reiko suddenly said calling me when she saw me with a lost look.
After leaving my thoughts I took all my things and put them back in my backpack to go with Reiko and Yui walking to our houses that were in the same neighborhood, although suddenly at some point we stopped talking about routine things to about the application that the three of us had made to the UA academy.
- How do you guys expect to prepare for the UA entrance exam? – Yui said suddenly bringing up the subject – We have the next ten months to prepare.
-The UA entrance exam is always divided into the practical and written test – Yui said as she changed her tone to a more thoughtful one leaving her usual stoic tone.
-Well I'm just training with my quirk at home like I normally do, my quirk doesn't have much beyond improving my ability to control more objects and refine their control – Reiko said remembering the training with her quirk – as for the practical exam, there's nothing to do but study the topics we've seen in the last few years.
-The same thing happens to me - said Yui somewhat annoyed for having to continue doing the same exercises to practice her quirk - How about we make a study group and the three of us meet to prepare for the written exam?
-Sounds good to me - said Reiko while I just nodded as I thought about the incident with the sludge villain that shouldn't be long away and where Izuku would acquire his quirk.
-Although we can do more activities to prepare for the practical exam than just practicing with our quirk - I said to attract the curious gaze of the two girls - haven't you thought about doing some physical exercise to improve your physical abilities?
-I already do a little exercise daily - said Yui thinking a little - maybe it wouldn't be bad to improve my training regimen for the exam.
-I do have to start doing physical exercise seriously - said Reiko a little embarrassed.
-Well, how about we talk about this tomorrow at my house about the study groups? - I said so they would nod and we separated to go each to our houses.
Physical training is one thing I've done little of, leaving aside that I train my quirk every day approximately my quirk about 3 hours, physical training only takes me about 40 minutes mostly stretching and cardio exercises.
A good physical training could greatly improve my performance without using my quirk, although without a doubt considering my size and my favorite style of using my gift it is best to concentrate on acquiring a more agile and faster body than focusing on training to gain muscles.
My quirk also has to continue increasing in training intensity these ten months, because these years I have focused mainly on understanding the limits of it, allowing me to create a technique like the Garden of Eden, for the moment my energy reserves are insufficient to make good use of this technique which forces me to another path.
