He was tired of waiting.

For the past two days, Razhal had ordered stricter border patrols and palace watch. Gorah had left with a dozen of his men who survived the rampage. He wasn't aware of any plot but he's a smart man so the King's unwarranted grace wasn't lost on him. The Alpha could very well see that his going home unscathed wasn't normal, but there was nothing he would do about it. His spies still left in the palace were not told either, leaving them in the dark. Besides him and a few trusted warriors who would trail him, nobody else knows, not even his own mother.
