Chapitre 314: It's not going to kill you

The next morning arrived with bright sunlight streaming through the windows, casting a warm glow over the living room.

I was sipping my coffee, trying to calm the jittery nerves that had been building since Carmen had announced our plan last night. Today was officially "Driving Lesson Day," and my instructor was Carmen herself. If there was a recipe for chaos, I was certain this was it.

Carmen, on the other hand, seemed like she'd woken up ready for battle. She appeared from the bedroom with a determined look in her eyes, twirling her car keys on her finger. She took one look at me, grinned, and tossed the keys my way. 

"Ready to conquer the roads?" she asked, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

"Are you sure you want me to start learning with your Lamborghini?" I asked, my voice tinged with a mix of dread and disbelief. "It's, you know, expensive."

Carmen laughed, clearly unbothered. "Oh, it's just a car. You've got to learn somehow, right?"
