Chapitre 109: Waiting Patiently

"This is your portion."

William glanced at the bowl in front of him and felt his hands itched a bit. The food the soldiers gave was nothing more than a bowl of porridge that had too much water. And this time, the portion he got was only half of what he got yesterday.

"Can I ask for more later?"

"No. You can eat when it's time for lunch later." The soldier looked guilty as he looked away when he answered. He was unwilling to meet with William's inquiring gaze.

"I see." Taking the bowl, William sat down and started eating. He noticed that Gloria also received the same treatment, but she was not one to eat a lot in the first place, so she didn't look like she minded it that much.

'This is definitely not enough for me.'
