Chapitre 4: Team of Professionals
Flipping through the files in front of him, Roman is a little bit agitated knowing the charity he hosted for his God mother was resulting in a woman fell off the Yacht and few guests losing their valuables in their cabins. This is not only a disgraced but also something that has made his God mother becoming a talk of the society about how their security failing at their task to control and avoid intruders.
Pressing the intercom on his desk, Roman requesting his personal Assistant Selene to call Leo Turner to see if he has managed to find out if the daughter of the Henson was attacked or was, she was just there to create more chaos.
"Mr Knight, Doctor Turner is currently on his way to the office". Selene's soft voice informing Roman.
"Hmm" just a short answer from him. He hates this, he has never failed, and this robbery has caught them off guard. He has an ego and a temper as big as the tallest mountain in the world. Almost an entire team of security has been fired over this. Swiveling on his chair, he dialed Cody Hale's phone number.
"Hello, is god mother alright?"
"Hey, yeah she is..Roman, it is not a big deal, she is absolutely fantastic, you know we can go public with a press. It is not your fault!! take it easy man.!" Cody calm attitude is like a water pouring on the fiery Roman.
"Do you think this is the same team of professionals thieves that target wealthy family? . " He has heard about the "Robin Hood". Their location is unknown and why they have been called Robin Hood still puzzled him, no one sees any differences increasing in any charities.
"MEANWHILE THE PROFFESIONALS TEAM MEMBERS IN ANDERS"
"Big bossssss!!!!! waaaaa!!! Big Bossss!!!!! why did you die early big boss!!!!!" Mango crying with a snot all over him....
Baldie that was annoyed from the wail, got up and took his flip flop and throw it across the room hitting Mango on the back of the head. Stopping him from his exaggerations mourning.
"What is that for???" Mango rubbing the back of his skull!!
"That is for saying Big boss is dead you idiot!!!" Baldie cursed.
"Who are you calling an idiot?" Mango unsatisfied and got up from kneeling.
"you!! you the idiot! i don't know why bis sister even recruit you the idiot" Baldie rolled his eyes while eating his sunflower seeds.
"Aaaaaarrggghhhhh"
Mango scream and ran towards the nonchalant Baldie and both wrestled to the ground while every other team member stood watching them brawling like a two little pigs in a mud bath. The name cursing is thrown, the rest can only shook their head praying to every god exist to return them their big Sister soon.
"BACK TO ROMAN KNIGHT,S OFFICE"
"The style is similar, however, the attacked on the Henson's daughter does not fit their MO"
Roman agreed to what Cody has mention, that certainly do not fit the MO.
"Leo will be here shortly, i will keep you updated"
Looking out the window from his office, he saw all the high rises building that his company has built and manage. From banking to constructions, the Knight has controlled almost every industry.
He has been avoiding returning to the Manor since he refused to listen to his mother requests. He loves her and let her decide in every aspect of his life, but not marriage, or his schedule. If she wants to change his Furnitures in his penthouse daily, by all means, she is welcomed to do it. But not his personal life.
At the age of 30, he is as single as it could be. He has no intentions on settling down, not once it ever crosses his mind, not until Damien and Roland fit enough to run some of the businesses. They can be irresponsible at times and childish with their bickering.
A soft knocked was heard...
"Come in"
Selene walking confidently with her bright smile together with Leo Turner in.
"Mr. Knight, i will bring the refreshments" Selene nodded to Leo and leave the office to prepare the refreshment for Roman.
Most people did not know Leo and Roman go way back during college time. They keep their friendship professionals in front of every public eye, and they are close like a brother in private life.
"Have you found anything?" Roman gestured for Leo to sit while he still standing overlooking the buildings, admiring his creations.
"Yeah, she does not remember anything, i can't tell if she is faking, but she does shows a symtomp of trauma and possible of memory suppressant from a traumatic experience. Roman...she is covered in bruises, it's a self-defense wounds, she was fighting for her life. Her injuries are not self-inflicted. "
Leo hesitant to continue his medical diagnosis about Clarissa which is Remi. He seems troubled by something; his worry seems to be noticed by Roman.
"Spit it out, you are not breaking any rules, i own half of the Kent hospital, making me a board member, therefore medical discussions are permitted".
Leo knew that, but this is more to a humanity and not just a violation of secrecy.
"The Henson daughter has so many healed broken bones that i am unsure of what is going on in their household, rib cage, ankles, it's a horror for a soft-spoken young woman, she has to suffer like that. She does not even speak loudly; she seems timid like a mouse" .
Roman sighed and walked to Leo that he knew to be a soft-hearted person. Unlike him, he does not concern himself with petty household matters in other families. He is there to make sure either The Henson's daughter was attacked or suicidal. Looks like he will be there with Selene to come bearing a gift. The least he can do since she was mercilessly attacked in his party.
Tapping Leo's shoulder, he appreciates him coming since he has busy schedules as a doctor. leo proceeded to inform Roman that Clarissa Henson's has been discharged from the hospital and will be back to run few more test and lab works for her.
