Chapitre 8: Change is good
Remi would rather die than spend time with the pair.
She asked permission to excuse herself back to her room as she wanted to see Nanny quincy, whether she had eaten or not. The pretending of being a gentle and understanding daughter is completely draining her. She was so tired and even skipping dessert, her all time favourite. She is also missing her teams and wondering how they are all without her. She knew Lucinda is managing the children at the orphanage great. She never take parts in any managing of the centre, she is there to make sure funding is enough for them.
The heavy rain made it more difficult for Remi to walk through the sharp thorns from the rose tree that she had to go through to get back to her room.
It seems, she has to make some drastic changes in this house.
She needs a cellphone first, she saw Clarissa's cellphone inside a drawer earlier, it was almost hidden. If she didnt know any better, Clarissa seems trying to hide it. It has been put on charged, since its an older generations android, it might take the entire night for it to be charged. She has an appointment tomorrow at the hospital for further checks up regarding her "Conditions".
Digging further on the dressers, she keeps looking around to make sure Nanny Quincy is fast asleep. Not wanting to raise any suspicious act she currently committing.
There is an entire set of Wallet that has every ID, drivers license and even an old motel room card. Remi keeps flipping the key card to see if she can find any sort of clue to which motel the card belongs to. Caught up in a moment for a second, she has just realized, Clarissa was not bringing her identity card or anything to the party on the unfortunate night.
The more she dug deeper to her personal belongings, the more she felt something was amissed. There is something off about this whole situations that Remi couldnt put a ring to it.
'Might have to call Baldie tomorrow to arrange something' She needs to deploy help from her team. She cannot stay dormant for a long time, the other orphanage in Lugos just received 10 more children. She needs to plan bigger job in order to fund the newly operated orphanage.
Seeing the old nanny sleeping soundly in the middle of the night laced with dry cough, Remi's heart felt a slight tugged, it turns out that this old woman is very important to Clarissa, but why does Clarissa take such a drastic action.
Remi is not a cruel person, but she cannot grow any feelings of love for Clarissa even though deep in her heart, she knows that Clarissa is her twin sister.
Living without a family since childhood makes it quite difficult to love people just like that. She looked at the time and its getting late, tomorrow a new order in the house will be restored.
MEANWHILE IN HENSON VILLA
Arianna keep pacing back and forth uncontent everytime she recalled the venomous words she has to endure from 'Clarissa'. She keeps checking her phone waiting for the person to text her back with an answer. Her face trampled the entire dinner time and she felt the need to make sure retaliation is in order before she leaves for her shopping trip.
Thinking of the shopping trip and travelling using The Knights private jet makes her heart giddy, she cannot wait to take lots of pictures and post it on her instagram, that way some of her instagram followers will know that she is travelling sponsored by the Knights.
Roman has never been involved with any woman in his career or private life, if she can vaguely mentioning about Roman perhaps ber audition for the new commercials will result in success. Afterall everyone wants to be in good faith with Roman Knights.
Smiling ear to ear, she laid down thinking of all the oppoturnities that comes rolling to her feet. She is beautiful, perhaps slightly less than Remi, but still one of the beautiful socialites in Arlington.
Her day dreaming was startled by a beeping tone on her phone. She got up quickly to see the text and smirk.

Holding her phone to her chest she lay on her velvet like mattress and stare on the vaulted ceiling in a good mood.
She started imagining the type of gown she wanted to buy since they are invited to Logan Kent wedding. It is a high profile wedding 30 days from now and she wanted to look her best. All the top tirr family will be there, and she wants to be noticed.
A soft knocked was heard on Arianna's door. Since no one will disturb her at night, it can be only Felicia. She opened the door without waiting on permissions.
"Mom" Smiling Arianna greeted her.
"Why arent you sleeping yet? It is not good for your skin".
It is more like a command than it is a gentle reminder.
"I was just flipoing through some materials for the auditions" Lied Arianna.
"I see..listen Riri..you cannot make a mistake when dealing with that B!+*@.., she is different this time, i cant yet figured what is it, but..no more poking her until we find out more." Felicia shared the things that has been bothering her since Clarissa came back from the hospital, both Housekeeper has reported on Clarissa's demanding behaviour instead of timid.
Arianna nodded in agreement, she knows her mom is too paranoid sometimes, but since Arianna figured a way, she does not need to even lift a finger.
2 days from now Clarissa will not dare to mess with her anymore. She hated her since Clarissa always seems ahead of her, in terms of looks, grades and even boys attention growing up.
She convinced Clarissa to take designs since Clarissa knows nothing about fashion and style and it works in Arianna's favor. Not only she failed to obtain a job, she was also behind in her class all the time. She cant believe how stupid Clarissa is..
Sbe then turned to her mom and ensure her Clarissa is a piece of cake, they then continued planning their shopping trip for the next day.
