"Goodness…" Lucas said a silent prayer to the moon goddess as he watched each one of the men as they got mowed down by the mystery man who had popped out of the woods.

The ease with which he ended all of them was even more scary than the killings itself. He could finally see why Alpha Charles loathed the man so much. Not even Alpha Charles's men were a match for him.

As he let the last body drop to the ground, he turned to Lucas, causing his heart to stop for a moment.

"Scott…?" Lucas muttered frightfully on the ground, as he tried to get up and run away from the strange-looking man who had killed each one of the men that had tried killing him.

"Did Alpha Charles send you here?" Scott asked, pointing his bloodied dagger at him.

"No…" Lucas retorted in denial, hoping that he wouldn't suffer the same fate as the others. "I'm running from Alpha Charles, and they came to get me."
