Chapitre 49: YOU ARE JEALOUS!

Gerald was thinking about his next step. He needed to find a way to spend more time with Theodora and win her trust. After two more meetings, he now needed a solid plan.

During their meetings, he had realised a few things about that woman. She was indeed arrogant and selfish as everyone explained about her, but there was this tender and broken side to her too that she was afraid of accepting.

She was more careful and polite with Gerald than anyone else, even Bertha. Why? He didn't know. But he had to use that to his advantage.

The other thing he had noticed about her was that she had an erratic mind. Keeping her focused and engaged was a task. Her eyes always searched for something interesting, something intriguing. Her mind wanders too far away to places that amazed him but also annoyed him sometimes.

If he wanted to get closer to her, then he needed to make her believe that he was interested, or he could keep her engaged in something she liked. But how?
