William finally came back to his senses. He looked up at the sun while squinting his eyes before turning his head to look at his master.
Valentine was wielding divine light magic in the palm of his head smirking a rigid grin.
William felt like time was going in slow motion after his gruesome flashback that had given him ptsd through countless years of his life shaking him up quite a bit.
Chaos landed on the ground swiftly and gracefully swinging his enormous dragon tail creating a huge gust of wind scattering some of the surrounding soldiers that were still in shock.
'Hmm… What should I do now?'
'I could make him a slave and use him to find out more about the other human nations… But keeping him alive after all this would be troublesome. Anyways, it might be to late already, so I might as well eat him and gain more power.'
"Emperor William Castiel III…" I looked to his left and seen a familiar face that I seen in the imperial council room earlier.
"That must be his right hand man… Interesting"
"Emperor William Castiel III, you will die here today along with your second in command. Also, I'm taking each and every slave under my wing for now as well."
The Emperor and his right hand both readied their spells casting defense, attack and magic spells right out of the gate.
It seemed they were prepared for the worst now that it had comes to this. They looked at Chaos with eyes devoid the fear of death that would slowly start to loom over them in the upcoming moments.
Arch-Bishop Valentine closed his eyes reminiscing of the day he first met William. He had became his mentor teaching him magic and swordsmanship from the young age of 10.
Although their personalties were different they both had similar past and values which made them compatible with each other nonetheless.
Valentine looked to his right to see William quickly glance at him only slightly nodding signaling for an all-out head on attack at the same time with their full strength.
Before they could even move I heard a message in my head coming from Indra. I'm guessing he succeeded in rescuing the slaves. I guess I'll tell him to bring all of them here now.
[Alert! Message From Servant- Indra]
"Accept."
"H-Hello. Master can you hear me?"
"Yes Indra. Are you finished?" I said immediately in a hurried tone.
Sensing my dismay Indra confirmed his status telling me of his success. "Indeed, We're ready to transport now. If I may ask master… Are you sure it's okay to move them all to your location?"
"Yes, in fact there's a reason I told you to rescue them first… You see, If they see me defeat the humans who enslaved them what do you think will happen?
"Oh, I understand your intentions now. That's very wise of you master, you're always 10 steps ahead."
"Exactly…Gate!"
A huge obsidian stone lined portal with black magical particles lining the inside in dense waves looking like a video game dark portal that you would always enter with extreme caution every time.
The 10 foot tall portal appeared out of nowhere in an instant. This shocked the likes of every Dragonborn and Dragonoid slave watching it appear out of nowhere.
They had a look of awe and wide sparkling eyes seeming not even afraid of what it could be or where it came from or even who did it.
"My lord has contacted me just now. Follow me, we are going to enter through his teleportation portal."
"Any of you who do not wish to serve under his rule will be left to fend for themselves but even still they'll now have their newfound freedom."
"Those who wish to come with us, remember to please act accordingly in front of our Lord."
"Kufufu, He is quite the charmer ladies and he's overwhelmingly powerful fellas so watch your selves.Don't say you haven't been warned!"
Those willing to serve Chaos were quite numerous being around 1000 Dragonborn and Dragonoids of all ages with the exception of children.
Only around 500 decided to take their freedom and go off on their own which was not bad considering most of them were children with families.
The new subjects of Chaos looked at Indra with admiration and respect he would undoubtedly be a great leader towards them and they knew that since he was their savior after all.
Some didn't hesitate but there were a few who seemed as if they were contemplating if they actually wanted to serve this mysterious powerful figure who no one had known about until an a few hours ago.
Sensing his subordinate hesitance and tension Indra spoke one more, "Do not fear our lord. He is our one true god and savior! He's a true dragon deity whose power can make the very realms themselves tremble from his might…"
"With that being said, he is also a very benevolent being, I mean look… He even went out of his way to save us all from our torment and suffering! We should all be grateful for his generosity dont you all agree?"
Everyone looked around at one another nodding in agreement and praying for the best that their decision wouldn't turn out to be their biggest mistake.
They decided to trust everything Indra had told them. How could they not trust the very man who saved them from captivity they were not like the others who had chosen to go off on their own.
They were strong and powerful well-known warriors from several different tribes and villages through Alvesia. Their honor and code would not let them keep a debt this great unpaid, no matter what it may cost them in the end.
Now that they were finally free of fear and the nervousness of meeting Chaos like they were feeling before and was now only filled with genuine gratitude and curiosity about their new supreme ruler.
"Yeah we're all indebted to his majesty, there's no way we'd let his benevolence be for naught!
"You're right! All one thousand Dragonborn and Dragonoid warriors here right now vow our eternal loyalty and allegiance to our benefactor, our supreme lord and our savior!"
Indra smiled a joyful grin as he spoke to them in a cheery tone,"That's right! Now… Step in, one at a time, it won't be long now."
"Yes, We Understand…"
When they finally all stepped in with Indra following up behind then they looked around intently at the obsidian smoke and magic particles all around them. They were surrounded by dense clouds of magic covering the entire room in a dense dark smoky haze.
This lasted no more than a second as their environment suddenly changed to the rugged and earthy terrain outside the Imperial castle.
2 figures could be seen hovering above thousands of soldiers who stayed together fight while some were fleeing every chance they got. They were desperately tying to escape the eyes of both The emperor and The arch-bishop, with fear being the only thing on their minds.
In front of the Dragonborn and Dragonoids stood a enormous dragon covered in gray scales with a spiked draconic tail silver wings and yellow golden eyes gazing at them with curiosity and interest.
Although to them it seemed as if they were in the presence of a god who looked down on them as if they were mere insects disturbing his peace.
Mumbling and surprised remarks could be heard echoing throughout the troops who all seemed completely mesmerized by Chaos's majestic dragon form in all its glory.
"A—Am I dreaming right now?!"
"Are you serious? This can't be real…"
"That's a gigantic dragon with a color I've never even seen before…"
"Wow… this I quite amazing!"
"Just who is this mighty being… Really?"
"I get the feeling he's no ordinary dragon…I guess "Indra" was right about him…" Said a beautiful and enchanting woman dressed in a black and white maid uniform. It fit snug and tight on her huge eye-catching breast which were covered by her long silky golden blonde hair and long blonde eyelashes on her mature and alluring face.
She had a red dragon mark on her shoulder which was pulsing intensely in my presence causing her slight discomfort as she looked down at her shoulder realizing what was happening.
With a look of disbelief on her face, she couldn't seem to make out any more words in her stupor, so all she could do was watch Chaos with an enamored and mesmerizing gaze.
Chaos then spoke in a deep domineering voice causing gust of wind to form and the ground to shake violently almost as if his voice alone could change the weather and cause natural disasters itself.
"My new subjects it's a pleasure meeting you all. Fortunately my subordinate here…" I turned my gaze to Indra then continued on, " is very reliable and freed you all in time for this grand opportunity.
"Listen closely my subjects… This battle is a chance to prove yourself and your strength to me. Whoever survives will earn themselves a rank in the Chaos Dragon Elite Regiment, becoming apart of my personal troops who will always stay at my side."
This statement brought confusion and disbelief to every Dragonborn and dragonoid present shocking even the emperor and arch-bishop. They had auditory skills that allowed them to overhear our conversation only backfiring on them bringing a wave of intense fear and nervousness over them instantly.
Chaos mentioned his plan of creating his own personal troops picking only highly talented and skilled Dragonborn and dragonoid warriors spanning from all different regions of the world in it's entirety which made them even more wary of him.
The emperor closed his eyes once more questioning his own willpower and leadership only to think of his family again who he vowed would never be harmed or alone in this wicked and evil world.
William looked at Valentine and nodded again reading himself for his most challenging battle yet one that would shake the very core of world and it's inhabitants for eons to come.
"This was his plan all along… We should've known better, huh Valentine?
"It would seem so, William."
"Well It doesn't matter now anyways though… Let's do this master!"
"Don't disappoint me William! Try to keep up now, will you?" Valentine smirked at his student and only nodded casting divine light magic in the Palm of his hand resembling a bright white and dense mist-like power exuding the light element combined with holy magic.
William lowered his gaze looking at his enemy with eyes full of rage and hatred. He gripped his scythe tightly letting all his death elemental energy flow into it rapidly.
All this energy started shaping a abyssal black aura that surrounded the entire scythe in a protective coating that drained the life and energy out of anything it touches.
"I will defeat you Chaos! I won't let you reign free over the mortal continent harming mankind."
"Eternal darkness heed my command! Let the dark flame of the underworld devour you in a glorious blaze for all enternity! I summon you! Lend me your strength…Death Dragon Goddess Nepharia!"
