At that moment it seemed as though Emily was no longer in the room. She could still feel Hal inside her but she was no longer clinging to him and she was dressed in a white sleeveless tunic with a plunging neckline.

Wherever she was, she was alone and it was a little eerie as she could still feel her connection to the outside.

She soon discovered that how the room looked depended entirely on her and what she wished. One minute, it was a meadow, and another, it was a luxurious palace that looked a lot like her home.

Hal who could view all that she could see marveled at the sheer size and design of the palace. He could also tell that it did not rely on imagination, it was something Emily's mind cooked up to look like something she was familiar with.

Anyway, even though Hal was there with her, Emily could not sense him or see him but that was all about to change as Hal created an apparition of himself in her soul world.
