Chapitre 34: Satoru’s Fury
Jujutsu High...
A young man lay on a bed in a hospital amidst the unmaskable scent of bleach. Beside his bed, multiple figures sat in deafening silence, while their gazed rested on his figure, casting pitiful looks into his slowly healing body.
*BANG!*
Slamming his palm on a table in anger, a white haired youth was brimming with fury. Not that it was completely uncalled for. Ever since Kenshin had arrived in Jujutsu High, he had faced misfortune after misfortune after misfortune. It was as if someone was targeting him from the shadows.
First it was a horde of cursed spirits, then an assassin, and now a special Grade cursed spirit. If it wasn't for the fact that Kenshin was strong, and was able to grasp a victory against all odds, Jujutsu would've lost two talented sorcerers on that day.
Therefore his anger was completely warranted and justified.
"Calm down Satoru. Let's get Kenshin fully healed first." Suguru spoke and looked at his friend in worry, fearing he might do something crazy.
""How can I calm down , Suguru?! Someone is trying to get my cousin killed among the higher ups! Sitting around all day isn't going to help! I need answers!"
Roaring out in anger, Satoru walked out of the hospital room and took off his glasses in anger.
"Go calm him down, Suguru. We'll take care of things here.." Patting his shoulder, Ieiri and Utahime spoke as he nodded and chased after the hot headed Satoru.
"To think someone would still be alive even after sustaining such a level of injuries..."
Mei Mei who stood at a corner in silence finally spoke out after the duo walked out.
"He'll be fine after I manage to charge up my reverse cursed technique. The only problem is, Satoru and Suguru found him unconscious in a large crater with almost 50 percent of the forest burnt to a crisp.
Also according to Satoru, there were traces of a domain being unleashed.."
Ieiri spoke with a sigh.
"You mean he battled with the special Grade in its domain and won?" Mei Mei revealed a surprised expression for the first time, while Utahim shook her head in worry.
"I don't know, but the cursed spirit did not have any technique related to flames, so it could've been that those flames came from him, also, the curse had a way of coming into contact with the soul. If Kenshin was hit by such an attack, then I don't know if reverse cursed technique would be able to heal him.."
Ieiri responded and took a seat in exhaustion and grief.
No matter what he had saved her and in turn, she was going to do her best to save him and bring him back.

Meanwhile, within a dark dimension, a figure was coiled around on the cold floor completely unconscious and unaware of his surroundings.
"Uhhh.."
With a groan, his eyes fluttered open, revealing the almost lifeless look within them. He was completely unmoved by the demeaning silence nor the darkness, as he remained still.
The next moment, a flaming figure materialized in the dimension like an angel. The figure was bathed in a pure golden light and was in the shape of a bird with beautiful feathers like a peacock, with nine long tails on its back.
"Master..." The bird spoke in a calm voice and gently lowered its head towards the youth who was currently gazing at the wonder before him with an emotionless expression.
"Who are you?" He asked with a raised brow and a sigh.
" Hi no Kyokotsu, Eldest of all mythical creatures and the fifth shikigami of the Rinnegan."
{A/N: Hi no Kyokotsu translates as fire Phoenix...}
"I see...what happened out there?.."
He nodded and sat up before asking once more.
"Your soul was terribly wounded by the Domain Expansion of that wretched creature, which forced my early awakening. I had to use one of my techniques to save your soul and then I took over your body, and defeated it.."
The bird spoke, as Kenshin nodded solemnly.
Kenshin sighed and shook his head. "Compared to the others, my skill set is quite abstruse. On my own, I'm pretty useless in battle, however you can summon my power through an incantation known as Phoenix Burst...and with that, the flame devil transformation takes place, granting you extraordinary increase in strength, speed, durability, and the ability to use Phoenix flames. The highest and most potent flames, capable of burning through even the soul.
As for my other ability. It is not to be revealed until the appointed time.."
While Kenshin listened to the bird blabbing on and on about its abilities, he quickly remembered something he needed clarification on, about the Rinnegan.
"Hey, can you explain to me what other abilities of the Rinnegan I have yet to explore?.."
"Currently, you're only a level away from completely mastering the Asura Path, but while your Animal Path is incomplete there are only three of my brothers left to summon. Due to fact that your consciousness forcefully loosened my seal, the others have loosened as well, hence you should be able to summon them anytime..
As for the last one, his ability is just as abstruse as mine, and he's a prideful one, so I don't think you'll be able to summon him anytime soon.
With this you should be considered to have reached mastery in the Animal Path.."
Kenshin listened and nodded. In as much as the Animal Path was strong, it had a limitation that kinda made it a bit useless for him. Apart from the Phoenix's ability to combine with him into the flame devil form like he said, merging with the others was something that would take a long time to accomplish.
At first he thought it was possible to even gain some of their abilities, in the short term, but unless he was able to merge with them, he couldn't use their abilities, meaning for now, they were separate entities and he was a separate entity.
If the shikigami were to be killed by any means, he would forever lose them and their power as well.
"The Path you should be aiming for to gain at this point should be the Deva Path. While I don't know much about it, I once overheard our previous master say that it could manipulate gravitational forces."
Kenshin listened with rapt attention and nodded.
"But, apart from the six Paths, every Rinnegan user is supposed to manifest his own ability exclusive to himself...our previous master's special ability was called the Heavenly Duplication which allowed him to basically duplicate anything from molecules to even cursed techniques..maybe yours would awaken at a better time.."
The bird spoke as Kenshin nodded and closed his eyes. He had learnt a couple of important information, and it was time to go back.

Within Ayumu's dojo, about 3 figures sat down including Ayumu himself at the very center.
"Principal, I do not agree with this notion. You can't give up. We need you. You're the pillar of this Empire in this current times...you cannot retire, at least not yet..."
Yaga roared out with emotion, seeing the withdrawn look on the old man's face.
"Calm down Yaga. I'm reaching my limit. I'm not the headstrong man I was in those days. I'm not fit to lead Jujutsu anymore, this empire needs a new head.."
Ayumu chipped in with a sigh, while Gakuganji, and old man even younger than Ayumu and Naobito Zen'in, head of Zen'in clan looked each other in the eye.
The reason for Ayumu wanting to step down as Principal was currently unknown to them, but within the old man himself, he knew the reason why he wanted to step down as Principal.
"Principal. Although we agree with you, the council isn't in the right state to agree to this heavy demand. We'll need some time to reconsider and process your demand, but we'll make sure to give you a response as soon as possible.."
Naobito spoke and shook his head, while Gakuganji sided with him.
*BANG!*
Right in their conversation, an overwhelming force instantly ripped through the dojo, devastating the entire area. However, Ayumu had sensed this and already formed a barrier with his cursed energy protecting everyone within.
"Oi. You old fogies. How the fuck do you think you're running this school huh.."
A white haired figure walked towards them with both hands in his pockets and an apathetic look on his face.
Without fully mastering the Limitless he knew he was no match for these guys, especially Ayumu with decades of experience in Jujutsu sorcery, but he didn't come to fight. He was only making a statement, that no one messes with the family of Gojo Satoru!
