Kayla’s POV
"Yes."
Even in the face of my questioning gaze filled with sadness, Harrison remained cold-faced and nodded without hesitation.
"It was me. While you were asleep last night, I unlocked your phone."
When mentioning "last night," Harrison paused for a moment, his gaze drifting to Nathan by my side. After a brief moment, his eyes returned to me.
"I think I've told you, Kayla, not to challenge my patience and principles! But this man has repeatedly made you ignore my warnings! I will never allow my woman to be constantly coveted by other men!"
"Is that your explanation, Harrison?"
There was a hint of sadness and grievance in my tone.
"You disregarded my feelings, had no trust in me, and even invaded my privacy just because you see me as your woman? Your private possession?"
Harrison looked back at me, opened his mouth to say something, but hesitated when he saw the sadness in my eyes.
In the end, he chose silence as his response to my questioning.
