But when Mike left, a few eyes sparkled.

"Do you think Nora has notes! She had cheated in those exams. She knows nothing." Penny spat with venom in her voice. "Has Alex asked you to do this with me? Had he lost his mind to support Nora so much." Her grip on her notebook was so tight that the pages started to crumble under her pressure.

Mike looked amused. When he turned to look at her again, his hostility was gone and his lips curled into a lopsided grin.

"Think whatever you want! Who does not know how Alex is! Do you think your words are valuable now?" He rolled his eyes and went to Nora's seat.
