After achieving the peak of the world's powers and creating the most powerful empire, Alden retired as a Demon King to live deep into the Great Forest in seclusion for several millenia.

His soltitude came to an abrupt end when a sinister force threatens to tip the balance of the forest which he preserved for thousands of years.
