Shin resolved to focus on what he could do rather than dwelling on the inaccessible information. Determined to advance quickly, he was going to use the potion and strive to reach the Apprentice Realm as soon as possible. He urgently needed to increase his strength. Although he had been the strongest being in the Abyss, he felt his weakness starkly during his fight with the gatekeeper. He knew he had to become stronger to regain control over his life and fully enjoy it without the threat of dying again, like in the Abyss or on Earth.

As Laura reentered the carriage, Shin asked her about his father's response regarding the information they had sent.

Laura said with a serious expression, "Young Master, Sir Zoran told you to come back as soon as you could after meeting your fiancée. A lot is going on right now. The Abyssal Cult has resurfaced after a century, and the Republic of Virlandsle and Calandlom are preparing for war. He also instructed you to bring Lady Valeri with you and stated that he would notify the Emperor."

When Shin heard the cult's name, he had a suspicion as to why they had suddenly become active. But with his limited strength, he couldn't do anything about it.

"Alright," Shin said, his curiosity piqued as he clenched his fists, feeling helpless. "But do you know why he specifically asked for Valeri to come with me?"

"No, Sir Zoran only said to bring her and that it is important."

"All right, go now, and don't bother me till we get to the capital. Unless it is absolutely necessary."

Laura hurried out of the carriage after bowing and acknowledging the command.

'Alright,' Shin thought to himself, 'before we reach the capital, I have a few things to take care of. First, I'll review my new status. Then, I'll take the potion. I'll hold onto the illusion affinity stone for now, as I can purchase affinity stones and bloodlines with new affinities from the system store.'

After concluding his preparations, Shin decided to see whether he could purchase anything new from the system store.

Shin's growing suspicions made him question whether the system was truly alive. This led him to doubt if the system was actually his cheat or something more complex.

He began to wonder if his entire reality was just a dream, and as his thoughts spiraled out of control, he felt himself losing touch with reality.

He passed out and lay completely still in the carriage.

"Let him be," Orin replied with a hint of disdain. "If he can't even handle this, there's no need to worry. I'll explain it to him later."

"Yes, that works for me," Orin said, a look of interest on his face. "Now, we just have to wait and see how it plays out. Will he reach those heights, or will he fail? As the only one with permission to attain them, I'm eager to see what decision he makes when he gets there."
