Xavier headed out towards the lake where he usually went to calm himself.

2 long years passed since she left him.

Since she betrayed him.

But still that wound felt as fresh as yesterday.

He laid everything at her feet.

Raised her to the standards of a princess.

Loved her like he never loved anyone.

But in return what did he get?

His own mate's betrayal.

Sometimes he used to think that was her love an act.
