I gulped and carried Meng Bao, bridal style. I got up from the chair with Meng Bao on my arm, and I asked Madam Yang, "Mother, do you know where our bridal chamber is? We need to go there as soon as possible."

"Huh? What happened?" Madam Yang asked. 

"It's Meng Bao. He got drunk after one cup of wine…." I reported. I didn't expect him to be such a light drinker. He could've just replaced the water inside the wine bottle with regular mineral water or soda if he told me previously. 

"Ah, I forgot to tell you that my son doesn't drink. He said it's not good for his health or whatever," Madam Yang said. 

She should've said that earlier, seriously. I sighed and asked again, "It's okay. I will bring Meng Bao to our bridal chamber."

"Yes, I'll call the staff to escort you two to the bridal chamber," Madam Yang said.
