"Haah!? Who are you? Such a small frail woman like you will fight me, Walter Bach? I could snap you in half in an instant!" Walter Bach shot back.
He enjoys the feeling of being feared by others so he couldn't stand hearing the insults of this arrogant young woman who seemed at least ten years younger than him.
In the entire Balmore Kingdom, even the military leaders respected and feared him.
If only he had the talent in terms of commanding an army, some said that he would be the next grand marshal of the Balmore Kingdom because, in terms of strength, he was one of the top warriors.
"Oh? You sure can talk, just make sure you can back it up!" Helena retorted.
After hearing another sentence of insulting words from Helena, Walter finally couldn't stand talking to her anymore as he drew his enchanted greatsword, the Mountainsplitter, and charged towards Helena.
"Shut the hell up and die!" Walter said with a furious look on his face.
On the other hand, Helena excitedly drew her enchanted greatsword, the Salamandr, and charged forward as well to engage in a head-on clash against Walter.
*CLANG*
The Mountainsplitter and the Salamandr clashed head-on, however, the scene expected by the Balmorans didn't happen.
They expected the small and frail-looking Helena to be blasted away in a single clash but what actually happened blew their minds.
Instead of Helena, it was Walter who was slightly blown back.
Walter was stupefied for a few seconds after realizing the result of their head-on clash which made him bellow in anger.
"Ridiculous! Again! This time, I'll use a hundred percent of my strength!"
He felt humiliated after losing the first head-on clash, however, he was indeed only using 80% of his strength.
This was because he decided to make his swing more compact just in case this young arrogant general or grand marshal or whatsoever decided to play a trick on him.
"Hoh? Then show me!" Helena said with an annoying smirk on her face
*CLANG*
The two of them clashed again but this time, they were even and no one was blown back.
Upon realizing that their most formidable warrior, Walter, matched Helena in terms of raw strength, the Balmorans secretly exhaled a sigh of relief.
They could once again anticipate the outcome of the match with optimism, confident that Walter's hidden ace would give him the victory.
*CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG*
Helena and Walter clashed twenty times, each narrowly escaping death at various moments.
As a result, Walter felt that the current pace of the battle was advantageous for him because he was convinced that the young woman wasn't genuinely fearless and merely putting on a tough facade.
Unfortunately for him, his guess was way off the mark.
This battle-maniac, Helena, loved fighting strong opponents since she was young and she had experienced many close life-or-death situations so these dangerous exchanges were nothing to her.
"Hahahaha! Not bad you big fat oaf! I didn't expect that you would be able to keep up with me." Helena insulted Walter again with a mocking smile on her face.
On the other hand, Walter almost spat out blood in anger after hearing Helena's insult. He couldn't wait to beat this young arrogant woman up and make her submit in bed.
"You little b*tch! Just make sure I don't get my hands on you!" Walter retorted as he gnashed his teeth in anger.
*CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG*
After a few more clashes, Helena got eager to finish Walter off so she got a little careless and was moderately wounded by Walter on the right side of her body.
"Tch!"
Helena clicked her tongue in annoyance.
Meanwhile, the Balmorans cheered at the top of their lungs. In their opinion, it was only a matter of time before General Walter would defeat the arrogant young woman.
Unfortunately for them, they couldn't be farther from the truth as Helena stopped playing around and focused on killing Walter who suddenly found himself on the receiving end of a beating.
He managed to block all of Helena's sword attacks but unfortunately, he was hit by all of her punches and kicks.
"PUHAHHH!"
Walter Back spat out blood after getting hit squarely in the abdomen by a kick from Helena who looked at him with a slightly bored expression on her face.
"I'm done playing, big fat oaf. How about we end this?"
Helena held her greatsword with one hand and pointed it towards Walter as she challenged him to use their best moves and end the fight.
Veins popped on the sides of Walter's head and almost spat out blood again due to excessive anger.
"How dare this little bitch call me a big fat oaf repeatedly?!"
Walter thought to himself as he prepared his best attack without bothering to reply to Helena.
Seeing that her opponent was preparing her finishing move, Helena also prepared hers.
Orange sword intent started to coat Walter's sword while Helena coated hers with red sword intent, then, after a few seconds, it was Walter who finished preparing his killing move first.
He raised his sword as three orange magic circles appeared on the top, middle, and bottom part of his Mountainsplitter greatsword.
Walter then charged towards Helena with a serious expression on his face.
On the other hand, Helena felt danger from Walter's sword which made her smile in excitement as her eyes turned pitch black and tears of blood flowed from the corners of her eyes forming into blood runes on her face.
Then, magic circles appeared on her arms and legs as she simultaneously activated the minotaur's [Empower] skill and her [Dash] skill.
"W-What the hell is that…"
Walter couldn't believe what he was seeing, his opponent suddenly became a sinister demon which made him slightly cower and the wide smile on her face only served to amplify the fear in his heart.
"Hahahaha! Walter Bach, you may consider yourself worthy for forcing me to use my ultimate killing abilities! You may now die in peace!"
Helena suddenly disappeared from her position and reappeared below Walter who finally succumbed to his fear.
*SPURT*
The Balmorans were horrified as the upper half of Walter's body separated from the lower half, however, soon after, what consumed them was shame, endless shame.
Their strongest warrior, Walter Bach, died while trying to run away.
He didn't even have the guts to face Helena, who was disappointed for not getting the final clash she wanted after using all of her abilities.
"Tch! Another wuss…"
