"My lady, are you feeling better now?" Hazel knocked on the door and asked in a sweet voice as she curtsied in front of Eve.

Eve's hands paused but she had learnt one thing from her conversation with Olga. She was in the dark and Cotlin had taught her never to launch an attack when you do not know the strength of your enemy. Why is Hazel here and what did she want?

"I am better, thank you. How are your feet?" Hazel shifted her weight from one foot to her as she smiled back. "I am much better, your grace. Thanks to the nutritious food your grace had given to me. I ate it to my heart's content." Eve rolled her eyes. It was more like he was throwing the dump out but the girl was making it like he had been so worried sick that he had packed all the food for her himself.
