The guards looked astounded by her shrill voice and her cold glare. They were taught not to notify the nobles since they could be sensitive but they were never told they have to bear their tantrums.

This place belongs to Harold. Should they waste time in dealing with the nobles on the expense of losing Cotlin again. Absolutely not. Their boss would fry them alive.

The man ignored the woman and tried to move but Ember held him by his collar and pulled him back. For a woman she was strong. The man was left dumbfounded the way she was able to drag him back to her.

"I never knew the staff here is so disobedient. Do you not hear me?" she frowned deeply. They looked at each other confused.

The other came forward to help his friend. But no matter how much he tried, he was not able to make his friend free.

"Madam, let him go. We are not staffed here. We can not help you." but even then she did not let him go.
