Chapitre 320: A Choice

"Lady Hazel, you have made the right choice." Philip passed another glass of wine to Hazel. It was the fourth glass and she wanted to refuse but she knew it was the cost of sitting on this table.

She had left the room when Damien did not offer her a seat. She could not bear the gloating look on Eve's face. But there she found Philip walking with two women. He offered her a seat and she took it happily. Since then his hands had reached for her so many times that she forgot the count. Her hands itched to push him away and it took all her strength to keep smiling.

Prince Philip, the one and only brother of King Carmen, had such a strong position that women fell for him everyday. He was handsome, gentle, kind and witty. He had all the traits that would attract a woman but Hazel did not like him. For him, there was only one man in the world. That is Damien!

But Philip could be a stepping stone. So, she brightened the smile despite feeling sour.
