Synopsis
"Argh, how did my life end up like this?!"
There was once a boy who's well-loved and popular with his peers. His smile could melt an adult's heart and his easygoing and sweet nature attracted a lot of girls who became his admirers.
Little did he know that such a blessed life wouldn't last forever.
Now, he is an ugly, overweight adult, working a job he doesn't like, and leading a life he doesn't want. No women want to be near him, let alone be his girlfriend, or even his wife. He is an oversized gear in a machine that doesn't even welcome him.
When he gets fired from his job, it is the last straw from him. He remembers his life as a kid, and now good and beautiful it was.
"I don't want this. I don't want this anymore!"
"I would be better off dead than having to live like this for a second longer!"
Suicidal, he passes by a flooding river, as there is a storm that day. He immediately thinks of throwing himself there, ending it once and for all.
And he does. But not because he actually has the balls to kill himself via drowning, but because he sees a little girl being carried down the river by the strong current.
In a split second, he decides that it would be better if she lives, even if he has to die in the process.
And he does. He saves her, throwing her into the side of the river. But then his legs, rarely ever used, suddenly cramp. He can do nothing as he is swallowed by the waves.
"Aah, it would be nice if I could be reincarnated into a fantasy world, like in those stories... I can do it all over, and do it better this time around..."
His wish is granted. When he wakes up, he's no longer his old, adult self. He's a baby, living in an entirely new world.
This is his story.

This story would have both happiness and hardships, heartwarming and sad moments, as well as romance that doesn't just end in a kiss. This is a harem story that will end up in a genuine polygamous relationship. It's also an adventure story, though it would stay as a slice-of-life for a good while as MC grows up.

I can not read more brother, I do not know how to feel this novel looks like the typical Japanese isekai I would not be surprised if in the next chapters the protagonist will tell his sister or his family that he reincarnated in that world, now I do not know how to feel with the MC, if I had to say it would be a typical Japanese MC, absolutely beta (probably because of the years he was alone in his first life, but the same is the same), the typical complex of I want to save someone, the typical blush with everything , and the typical Japanese MC who does not like physical training and only goes to the magic, as for the rest is fine, at least he is not the typical Gary stu but I do not like his personality, I would prefer that he be like Shiro Emiya if he heroes or at least pretend to be ridiculous, he blushes with an 8-year-old girl because, like this, a girl who is not even developed and the typical one is about 40 years old (literal), I mean no matter how virgin you are or how lonely you are I don't think someone you can be ashamed with an 8 year old girl. Well that is all I did not put much of the novel so as not to give spoilers more see it but I do not like it, if I liked this type of novels I will see a Japanese novel good night

MC will not pick the women, the women will pick him. this would be so enjoyable to read if MC had a pair of balls. even after they get intimate he’s still awkward, which is incredibly unrealistic and outright stupid. here’s to hoping MC changes but i doubt it. the story was enjoyable but i can’t stand the MC beta personality so i’ll be dropping it. but i’m sure there are some people out there that don’t mind it or maybe even enjoy it. good writing too. what a shame :(

I have read your story until ch 60 currently. I feel much depression on the mc, and it kinda stupid and bit retarded with how I think. . He meet many people and bit exaggerated around girl if not cute then big boob. . He knew what he lacking and think he can overcome it with his the so called soon to be wife, and forget his own siblings.
Story is good and heart warming which i love to read and i hope this story goes on for many more chapters.............and i hope he gets together with his sister because i don't want to see her with other male character.
I read this at your other site since ch 50ish I think the ratings here are pretty unfair considering the quality of the novel I like the Mc and I like the story Good read overall

Mc has cartoonish average japanese themed isekai personality. Personally i dont like that kind of mc and as such i end up not liking the story and wont read more of it. Nothing wrong with the story thou. So if you like or tolerate that type of mc personality. Go for it and you might enjoy your time on the story.

Thats ok, but what made me speechless was that author decided that the MC leave his sister and baby sister ALONE and they are also wanted criminals, while he went to another continent to search for the adopted girl... I was Like The F!?, at least bring your sisters with you!!. I kept reading for more chapters, but things got from bad to worse. Its not bad to add tragedy and what not, but what the author made the MC do is asking to smash his head in a wall.
Hmm typical Japanese beta mc, can't even talk to his own sister who is only 8 y/o without blushing. And apparently he is an ***** who had gone through hardship in his previous life.

Technically the story is sound, well written and the plot and pacing fine. Which pains me because content wise, its of questionable nature with an ***** man reincarnated in a typical shouta body that gets into plenty of ecchi situations with little girls. I rated it 4/5 because I simply couldnt rate it lower than that since all the parts judged by the system are sound... That said. The author is definitely someone on a watch list judging by the content ft under aged girls and ecchi scenes as well as the fact that he feels the need to point out their ages in or near each ecchi scene. The world, setting and everything else tough is just really good and well done which make it worth the read despite the fact that we're talking about pre schoolers here... I manage by adding 10 years to their ages mentally but still.. Im inclined to dropr the story because it just doesn't sit right by me. Thus yes, if you're not disturbed by highly suspect stuff at pre school ages, then this is a fantastic read. Otherwise... I recommend not reading it.
So Hugo has it easy until his sister gets kidnapped and in the process of saving her the parents die, very sad. This guy goes through his adventure beating himself up a lot after that. Great world building and characters as well as amazing character development and showing how each character has their own study and practice and how they compliment the others. It’ a great read and I enjoy the story and how it unfolds. I can’t wait for the Finale!!

I'm not going to hold back at this one this story need a major rewrite and the fact that the mc doesn't have any redeeming aspect about him make it worst I tired my best to reach to pass 111 even though most of the shit what happen didn't need to you might think it would build character but all I see or broken people mc got a second chance and does nothing to change his self he's worst than beta mcs even if he kills a couple of people for his sis doesn't change the fact he could have gotten better character development the story has unnecessary drama what just kills it for most people to read anyway I hope you can reread the story you post and give it a better plot
I loved this novel but not anymore, It went 0 peaceful to 100 dark, and stays dark Tragedy Overdone, At first it gave the story a drive, every character felt alive but after continuous cliche tragedy borrowed from Chinese novels or whatnot, It feels unfulfilled and empty, nothing gained, Even when gains are made, it feels hollow in the dark,
The story is great. It would have been better if author didn't spend so much time on his childhood. I get it u want build the MC's character but 10 to 20 chapters of his childhood would have been enough. I almost dropped this when I saw he was still a child for so long,it got too boring

Pleasantly surprised to find this book. It's a very fun, well-written light novel with a lot of cliches you expect from such, but they're all done very well, which is what matters. I'm 174 chapters in, and I plan to keep reading for as long as author keeps posting.

writing quality and other **** are all dope BUT MC is a beta,,,like this is an *****, that gets embarrassed by young girls,,,,yah its nasty. Then theres the fact that despite being an ***** in a kids body this dude aint special as ****,,,,,he is too weak.....dosnt make use of any SI modern world or anime knowledge to create spells, attacks or do anything...... then there are retarded moments where MC's sis get humiliated like getting stripped in public by some 15 yr old ***** but she does nothing but accept it cause of her pride...its retarded cause.. 1) she has pride, she shouldnt allow it, its ironic that she allows such humiliation if she has pride... 2) she is a super genius able to out rank 15 yr old, who is a noble. my ass she wouldn't get some special privileges... 3) where the **** are the teachers?, they are allowing a 11 yr old child to get bullied to such an extent, even worse considering said child is a super genius. There are many retarded moments like this that made me drop. BUT if u like a decent story with retarded moments and a beta MC...this is for u
