Chapitre 50: War of the nine realms pt 2
—Narrator continued--
Asgard had an awkward atmosphere right now, they knew a war was coming they welcomed the war even but they never would have thought it would happen so fast after Odin's demise.
"People of Asgard war will strike our lands our realm we swore to protect! We must stand together and fight together! We must not show weakness! Asgard is the strongest in the Nine realms let us show them again we are! Let us show them the might of Asgard let our enemies know our wrath once more!" Hela declared to all of Asgard with Thor and Frigga at her side.
Loki was in his chambers, his life force and divinity were all but drained his body was in a state of stillness. His once godly life is now akin to torture. He can't be put in stasis in fear of his body never being able to wake but at the same time one had to wonder wouldn't that be better than this?
--norman pov ---
After having the Dark elves join me, I went back to earth after all I have a meeting to attend with Emma Frost, well actually the Doctor has a meeting to attend.
It's not like she scheduled it but I made a mental note to have her join me. The sad part about having the mind stone is that convincing others to join me is like walking around a park, it's just too easy.
As soon as I got home I went into my half jinn form and equipped my outfit. Soon I disappeared into the comfort of the shadows.
I appeared in the office of one Emma Frost, she clearly didn't expect any visitors as my mind was immediately attacked, a weak attack very weak almost like a toddler trying to fight, Godzilla weak.
"Pathetic," I spoke my voice made her tense immediately
My mere presence started to affect her mind I could tell she was trying not to break down, an admirable effort.
"W-hy ar-e you here?!" she said clearly distressed
"Join the league," I said plainly
"N-"
"You will." I spoke icily
She clammed up instantly and said, "yea of course I would join the league! Why wouldn't I silly me." Her voice filled with joy but her face was making a pitiful expression
The mind stone is so broken I'm glad I have it and not someone else. Soon we joined hands and the process was complete.
"Stay doing what you are wait for my call." I said before the shadows embraced me
—-Kamar Taj narrator pov —-
In a small room, the ancient one was leisurely enjoying her daily cup of tea, the soft but strong flavors of this particular brew were one of her favorites. Since the ancient one stopped using the time stone her life has been more enjoyable, she follows the path of reacting not planning now.
But her peaceful days soon came to an end, when an old Asgardian message receiver pinged in her office requesting an immediate assembly. She was to be present at Asgard tomorrow.
[the next day]
The ancient one stepped through a portal to Asgard, she appeared at the gates.
"Ancient one, let me guide you." a guard said
As she was led through the golden city she noticed how everyone was tense and preparing for something.
Soon she stepped Into the great hall of Asgard, it was a beautiful sight, the walls made of gold with beautiful paintings gracing them.
"Hello, Yao come here and sit down we have much to discuss," Frigga said beside her Hela and Thor
"What have I been called for Lady Frigga?" Yao asked. She hadn't been in Asgard for ages
"Please wait for the others to arrive," Frigga answered calmly
So she waited, and soon the large doors opened once more.
A small man, a dwarf walked calmly into the room. He was Eitri the dwarven king.
"Eitri welcome please join us," Frigga said with a kind smile
"Tch, why am I here." Eitri sneered
'I'd rather be forging or drinking' Eitri thought annoyed by this whole meeting
Soon the great doors opened once more and a beautiful woman walked in with guards behind her, each step she took was graceful and light. She was Queen Aelsa Featherwine of the Fay monarch of Alfheim.
"Queen Aelsa, it's a pleasure to see you again, please join us," Frigga said with an amicable smile
"Queen Frigga, it's been too long," Aelsa replied
Once she was seated no others joined them, they all looked at Frigga waiting for her to speak first.
"I'm sure most of you have heard what is happening in the realms, Odin my husband was killed, now many others vie for Asgard's seat as guardian of the realms, a war is inevitable, Asgard needs your support to help bring the nine realms together. Yao Midgard might be in danger but I'm not sure yet, the war will start soon and it will be bloody. Do you all stand with Asgard?" Frigga spoke calmly
"Aye, I always stand wit Asgard le meh forge!" Eitri exclaimed
"I'm glad to hear that Eitri we look forward to using your people's weapons once more," Frigga replied
"I also stand with Asgard," Aelsa said with a gentle smile
"The sorcerers are only concerned with earth but I could see the problem with your position being taken, I will send aide to Asgard when you are in need," Yao replied sagely
"I see thank you, now let us prepare," Frigga said
---Norman pov ---
After finishing my business on earth I decided to go to Jotunheim, I took Malekith with me to show I already have the support of another. Since their leader Laufey is dead I'm sure they are waiting for a chance at revenge. Revenge is something that even the strongest of minds are weak against and to be honest, the frost giants aren't known to be the smartest.
I and Malekith walked through the spacial tear, I was already in my 10-foot form, behind me Malekith walked steadily with unfaltering steps. The frost giants might not be the brightest but they are strong foot soldiers for this war.
We quickly made our way to the frozen castle of Jotunheim, quickly the frost giants' sprung from the ice and surrounded us. A male frost giant walked out of the castle walls.
"I am Eldair, leader of the Frost Giants what have you come here for my people have already suffered enough," Eldair spoke sadly
"I am the Lord of Darkness, I have come here to give you an offer, no your race an offer. Odin has died I slew the old fool myself, war is coming and Asgard is in the middle of it. DO YOU WANT REVENGE! JOIN ME AND YOU WILL CLAIM YOUR REVENGE ON ASGARD!" I shouted my voice booming across the frozen lands
My telepathy was working at high speeds, every word I said pounded deeply into his mind, and every syllable I said I made seem important.
"Can you really grant us revenge?!" Eldair asked hurriedly
"Yes I can but, only If you obey me. This is Malekith The Accursed leader of the Dark elves and ruler of Svartalfheim. His race has joined me and our cause." I spoke smoothly
"Yes, the Lord has asked me to help your people with technology if you join us." Malekith spoke gruffly
"Yes we shall join!" Eldair spoke readily
He and the rest of the Frost Giants got to one knee and shouted, "We swear out allegiance as the Frost giants to the Lord of Darkness!"
I just smiled at that, my plans are coming along fairly well.
--Narrator pov --
While plans were being set in motion, earth was going back to normal.
Jean was sitting down at a desk going over some paperwork when Nix decided to talk to her.
'Jean trouble is brewing in the Realms, you will be safe here but you need to train harder, prepare for the worst.'
"What's happening?" Jean asked
'Someone killed a powerful God now many more powerful races and gods are trying to take over his territory, war will happen soon in the realms' Nix replied
'"GODS!? They are real? Are you stronger than them?'"Jean asked in rapid fire succession
'I could easily kill them all, but that's useless. Anyways train more." The Phoenix spoke in an uncaring way
"Well, no time like the present!" Jean spoke rushing off to train
--- Felicia pov ----
I was making dinner for the family tonight when Norman opened a portal in our living room hauling in a blue-looking creature.
"Um, honey, what's that?" I asked
"Oh this is a prisoner, the frost giants were going to kill him so I decided to have you steal his strength then kill him to take his power," he replied nonchalantly
"Oh, okay thank you, babe! I've been trying to figure out who's powers I should take." I replied
"Hm well, I can make a good list for you but for now just settle with this waste of space," Norman said
Not replying I focused on the first giant, I could feel energy leaving my body and entering his, I had just enough to steal a concept like his strength.
Stealing it I felt my body grow much stronger than the weirdest thing happened my energy grew at the same time. Maybe my energy levels Correlate with a strong body? since I had more energy I decided to take his battle experience as well as his ability to manipulate ice. After stealing everything I quickly stabbed him through the heart with a shadow blade.
I could feel the powers sinking into my body becoming mine internally.
"Thank you, hubby, ~" I spoke seductively
"Anytime babe," he replied kissing me
God I love my life.
