Chapitre 15: The Sudden rise of the Techno Industries
With all the chaos in the world going on, no one gave any thought in night city when a person named Kane registered for a business filling to be done with them setting up in the Badlands where they bought 10 kilometre of land and immediately paid with full eddies which did raise eyebrows but not enough to report on.
This was prelude to the madness this company would begin with 7 days the ground of Badlands had been uprooted and replaced with concreate and a high defensive walls that protected belching fire that spewed up into the atmosphere the permits were all in order so the city reluctantly left them to their own devices especially with how fast the production was set up.
Another bother for the now mayor of night city was that he couldn't tax the lands outside of city limits because of the previous mayors massive price reduction of land taxes as well as personal taxes thus giving corporations a big advantage so he reluctantly lefty it as well, especially since he didn't want to deal with seemingly best lawyers he ever encountered, he instead forced on getting order in night city.
3 Days later the first announcements would be made that the techno union had patented a plasma refinement method initially the response of normal people was a mere question about this small company while medium companies pounced on the company which they thought wouldn't have no backing resorting to typical methods of blackmail and threats it was a surprise when all said companies were ruthlessly taken over and incorporated into the techno union which had moved all operations into their complex which had one again expanded subtly to 20 kilometres.
On the same day the ECC announced that it would be switching its fuel suppliers which was a portion of Petrochem income but mainly from a combination of Araska and Miltech though one company that held a share of 25% was Kang Tao in the market share had gone under and while the 2 companies where distracted a company appeared out the blue and had taken over a staggering 35 percent of the market share of the ESA the space agency said due to certain factors it would be switching.
And when this happened investors on both sides were shocked and began to investigate and what they found shocked them a company had subtly been brought up to the level ok Kang Tao through the 2 had been fighting it had built a new type of reactor that ran off plasma and had a higher efficacy by 15% this was massive jump from the previous base standard as well as this with all the new fame suddenly or expectantly coming there way the Techno Union used advertising to propagate its new worker "Droid B1 model".

While nothing not common in the industry of robotics was the amazing price and cost maintenance of the droid priced at 1800 eddies it was an absolute steal, the also massive improvement was the amount it could lift with being bulky as was the problem with other robots as they had to be large to accommodate the large amount of hydraulics but the droids sued a patented methods of magnetism that made the joints of the droid able to lift several time their weight which was 400 kilograms or 882 pounds.
This was a massive deal as not only could the droids be used for heavy work loads they had an amazing battery that when combined with the Techno unions power cells they could run constantly for 2 weeks, this announcement brought numerous attentions mostly of corps as they enquired about the droids capabilities numerous corps were recommend to join the company at their facility in the Badlands where an only person exclusive was going on in where they would show the droids.
And so on December the 12 all corporations arrived with fanfare with Miltech arriving in a massive manticore that had numerous weapons and a contingent of security on ether side and Arsaka whop arrived not by air but a ground convoy with blitzing speeding Infront of them being THE ADAM SMASHER Miltech security raised their guns and prepared to fire that all stopped when a mechanical voice appeared.
...: "Ah organics representatives of the great and might Miltech and Araska please do not fight here on Union soil it will be seen as disregarding our company in these negations and be blocked off from the showcase".
What appeared was a white frame of a droid that hadn't been advertised it was walking through massive gates that when opened showed the massive array of B1 droids that held a sort of weapon that had been up to now a novelty which being a concentrated blast plasma through a further refining process which was capable of melting through even tungsten which had the highest heat resistance properties though all of this was unknown at the time.

Adam: "Oh yeah what you going to do about it " he asked in a tone which beggared a response.
...: " Mr Smasher need not your own philosophy in which 'more metal you are the more crazier you are' you would see that i am a being of pure metal thus you should well aware of I'm capable of, let alone what your long time rival had said to you atop Araska, i would also ask that you stop trying to get a reaction out our delegation Mr Yorinobu Arasaka's bodyguard is surely not a being of pure idiocy i would assume?".
With a growl that could rival lion he stopped much to the shock of everyone present little did they know that the reason that Adam smasher stopped was due to the direct intervention of Saburo Arasaka who used the calm programming inside smashers head to calm him down directly as was in his contract as he knew himself he would go off at the smallest things.
...: "With all our guest now here as well as their virtual representatives we shall begin, i might remind that the whole time you inside this facility you are under surveillance and any attempts at secret planting or infiltration out systems will result in sever consequences and how forgetful of me i am ST-355313 or as I've been named in the systems as Sheelal".
This human expression seemed to make the more of the nervous corporation relax while those who realised what was going subtly changed they way the acted as droid that can emulate emotions such as forgetfulness is impossible thus the feigned expression making those who are wary about this company even more so.
The tour began as the seemingly endless B1 moved away tucking their blaster onto the magnetic locks on their backs and began too move over to worker mode, the tour began with nemerous explications the B1 droids purpose and rolled with 3 fingered digits enact for a role in where it can man vehicles or weapons with efficacy it was detailed how they have an adapting algorithm and that overtime they will learn how to do tasks without even asking them to, raised a lot of questions in which the droid effortlessly answered them.
Sheelal: "This next part is where we are going to demonstrate a new type of weapon and its ammunition this should be applicable for the wider market such as energy production or even ammunition."
Questioning gazes turned towards a field in where a battalion of B1 droids and a commander variant went on live fire drill in where the power packs of plasma were loaded onto the blaster rifles and shoot for 500 shots before needing to be replaced in the tests was a bunch of different metals from alloys to even pure metals as well as vehicles in such as the Miltech Basilisk was absolutely devastated after 7 shots in where the internal components were destroyed and thus getting rid of the antigravity field leading it into the floor crashing.
The gazes turned the now destroyed Basilisk and the seemingly terrifying droids who if were as cheap they claimed would easily outgun any human enemies and while being able to tank heavy kentic weaponry, plasma weapons were beyond the manufactures factored in as such this new breed of weaponry practically will destroy any cyborg or chrome in the market only going faster would help such as a sandivastvian but even then the B1 droids would eventually adapt this and then propagate this.
Sheelal: "I've also been informed from some our spectators what other designs we have and i can tell you that we have 15 lines dedicated to B1 production and then for more violent matters we have the B2 battle droid that has heavy plasma weapons that can even burn through metal at 24cm from any distance, and ensure our continued production we have recently create both the Hyena class bomber craft as well as the Vulture droid both of these use a type of plasma fuel that can function in zero g environment and such sublight thrusters can move the craft at speeds of 1500kilometres in atmosphere and in space."

Miltech officer: " And how do all these droids function as any and all need to report somewhere "
Sheelal: " Ah we have done away with this issue by having a implant which could also double as a cyberdeck in where any and all updates on droids can be bought for a certain price as well as a option to give more leverage to us in exchange for cheaper prices or even come under our umbrella of a union, does this answer satisfy you?."
With a face that betrayed none of his grim thought the officer has he stepped back while Adam Smasher stepped forward and his arm opened up and immediately everyone tensed but what popped up was of the leader of Araska himself Saburo Arasaka
Saburo " If these are as capable as you claim then i would immediately like to to negotiate the acquiring of 200,000 B1 droids as well as 5000 B2 droids and a specialised control module for my self would this be possible Sheelal."
Sheelal: " Ah Mr Arasaka this would indeed be possible we would like to remind you of the fact we hope to expand into space operations and as such we will be making mission into orbit as such we wish to temporarily use Araskska space station to house a certain amount of manufacturing droids for the missions to extract resources from asteroids, and as for you question to Mr Smasher we do in fact have organic personnel we as in all the droids made and seen by you were made by my personnel creator Alexander Kane or as he himself refers to himself as Kane."
Saburo: " Ah yes the mysterious person who's own net worth apparently is compared to my own in a few days, is per chance Mr Kane looking for a partner you see my Hanako has been single for a while."
While seemingly harmless comment passed through the ears and audio receptors of everyone present the seemingly infallible Sheelal had his photoreceptors turn red for a split second which was noticed by almost no present expect smasher.
The voice of Sheelal brought everyone back to the present after hearing such an audacious comment by the seemingly infinitely prideful Araska and that he would offer his own daughter away to such an unknow and while everyone was thinking this Saburo calmy thought in his mind that his daughter be used for an arrangement like this a line for successors of the Araska bloodline as well as an alliance with seemingly infinite potential of the Techno union.

Harry_6224 This took ages for some reason hope you all enjoy it btw what should Kane do About Mrs Hanako, fyi not good at romance i think so anyway but yeah people wanted B1s and i thought about adding some act of them messing up but thne i would want the to look "Good" soooo yeha anyway tell me what you thought abou this longer chapter ? toodles my people !!
