Alright, this fanfic is gonna shake things up a bit from the typical anime storyline. Our main character is Tekeo Kamado, the third oldest sibling after Nezuko. But here's the twist – everyone starts off three years older than they are in the manga. So, 13-year-old Tanjiro is now 16, 12-year-old Nezuko is now 15, and our boy Tekeo starts off at 14.
Tekeo's Special Traits
Tekeo gets a bit of a cheat (don't worry, it's totally fair). He's ambidextrous, meaning he can use both hands equally well, giving him an edge in strength, speed, and control. Plus, he'll get a decent power later on – not too overpowered, but enough to help him grow strong. The goal is for Tekeo to become as strong as, or just slightly weaker than, Giyu in about 4+ years.
Timeline and Growth
The original manga spans around 4.5 years, including Tanjiro's 2 years of training with Urokodaki, several months of injuries, and the training arc. By the time it's time to take down Muzan, Tekeo will be strong enough to solo Upper Moon 6.
