Chapitre 254: Wild Introduction
High Elves: Beings whose bodies have been completely purified by mana and have naturally attained the saint stage from birth. Compared to the normal elves found in the living world, high elves are notably taller in height and bare longer ears.

Right now, those same High Elves were standing in front of Grim with their weapons drawn.
Increasing the speed of his steps, his light walk soon turned into a dash!
"Protect the QUEEN!"
Ramping up their mana to the limit, silver and golden brilliance burst out from their bodies like a tsunami. From the depths of their mana, beautiful elven made armour manifested on their bodies.

Sliding under the beam of one of the Castle Guard's magic attacks, sparks erupted out from the area between the ground and Grim's knees.

Shooting forward and destroying the ground at the same time, Grim shot past several Castle Guards and aimed for a high elf at the back.
"LORD FIORIN!!"
Slamming his fist deep into the stomach of a older looking Castle Guard who wore light clothing and had his hands wrapped up in tape. Grim's lips curved upwards as he felt the man withstand his blow with nothing more than his physical body. No, that wasn't right. Looking closer, beneath the surface of his clothes lay a black tattoo-like magic circle that radiated golden light.
'I knew it.' Grim grinned. 'This guy, he's the strongest one here!'
*Clutch*
Grabbing hold of Grim's outstreached arm, Fiorin's free hand started glowing with golden light as he raised it up high.

*BOOOM!!*
Feeling like a mountain had just desended upon him, the floor beneath Grim's feet cracked.
"Bleghh!!" Spewing blood out of his mouth, Grim's eyes shook with delight.
'He exceeded the passive [All Devouring]!!'
"Kekekekehahahahahahahahahahahaha! Gooood~"
Seeing the smile on the bloodied Grim's face, an unknown dread gripped the hearts of the other Castle Guards as a thick and heavy fiendish aura began emanating out from Grim's body.
"This mana..." Lord Fiorin frowned. "You... just what are you?!"
*FWOOSH!!*
"Arghhh!!"
"My armour!"
"Wh-What is this!!"
Engulfing the room in his savage aura, the castle guards were brought to their knees as something started eating away at their armour.
"Oi." A deep voice submerged in madness echoed in Fiorin's ears as he slowly lowered his hea-
-SWOOSH!!
-BANG!!
Feeling Grim's knuckles crash into the centre of his face, Fiorin didn't have enough time to react as he crashed through one of the reinforced palace walls and disappeared.
"LETS GET CRAZY!!"
Hitting him with a nasty right hand and sending him flying, a toothy grin that revealed a row of sharp teeth showcased itself on Grim's face.

Walking out of the destroyed wall without the slightest sign of injury, for the first time since his intrusion, Fiorin looked at Grim seriously.
"That white hair, those yellow eyes and your long ears... You look like us, but that skin tone, that mana and those teeth... Just what are you?"
"What am I? I wonder that too." Grim chuckled his eyes shining with intense yellow light. "But I guess if I had to give it a name, you could call me a Wild Elf."
A Wild Elf?
Searching his memories for any mention of them in the ancient records, Fiorin frowned when he couldn't find anything.
'Could this boy be lying to me?'
Despite this being the first time he had met with Grim, his instincts as an elf told him that Grim was his junior.
With his face turning stern, he walked towards Grim with heavy steps. With each step he took, his mana rose a tremendous amount as it pushed back against Grim's [All Devouring].
'Magic capable of eating away at armour crafted specifically for defence against magic based attacks. From the moment he withstood my [x4] physical attack, I knew he was formidable.'
'But- anyone who disturbs her majesty will meet the same fate.'
Standing a few feet away from Grim, the silver bracelet on his wrist starting glowing with a warm silvery light before transforming itself into a pair of immaculate silver guantlets. Fitting them onto his hands Fiorin stared at Grim, placing three fingers between his eyebrows and pointed them at Grim.
"Elozaar Fiorin, High Elf, Royal Knight of the Uriasvel Kingdom."
"For the sake of her majesty's peace, I will defeat you!"
'Heh, so thats what were doing? Fuck it, I'll play ball.'
Placing three fingers on his forehead and imitating Fiorin's actions, Grim introduced himself.
"Valtus Grim, Wild Elf, Peak of Evolution."
"For the sake of my entertainment, I'll toy with you until I'm bored."
Having finished making up a name and having tasted a hint of Fiorin's magic, he directly called out Soul Burner.
"Blaze - Soul Burner!"
*FWOOSH!!*
Breaking through the ground and raising the temperature in the palace, Soul Burner blazed with white hot light.
"Hmmph!"

Feeling an obtrusive force press itself on him, Grim's [All Devouring] kicked in and quickly took care of it.

'My debuffs are not working on him. This boy... He's far more dangerous than I thought. At first I wanted to capture him and find out more about these Wild Elves. But now, I think it'd be better if I ended him.'
