Chapitre 54: Kill him (1)

He gazed at her eyes that seemed to brighten a little more, her pupils dancing as if she was excited about something.

What was going through her mind? He was yet to try and find out when her question popped.

"What about you? Do you have a goddess you particularly like?"

"Demigoddess." He corrected her in one irriated word.

"Oh." She set foot into the building and looked around as though it was the first time.

"That's all you have to say?" He followed a step behind her, sighing when her hand slipped out of his.

She seemed to realize that they had been holding hands a while ago and her eyes looked away from him while her cheeks stained with this adorable blush. She was so freaking beautiful.

"I would tell you she is lucky but she isn't." She cleared her throat.

"Why not?" He couldn't fathom her thought, much less why she looked confused saying it out.
