Kira stood in the midst of the battlefield, his breath steady as he faced Darui, one of the Cloud Village's most formidable shinobi. Around him, the fighting continued, but it felt distant, like an echo in a vast chamber. His focus was entirely on the man before him, the one who could very well end his life if he made even the slightest mistake.

Kakashi and the others were still reeling from the sight of Kira's earlier attack, the brutal efficiency of Shigan leaving them stunned. The battlefield had gone silent, the sounds of combat replaced by the heavy tension that hung in the air like a storm cloud.

As he evaluated the situation, Kira's mind raced through his options. He considered using his bloodfield, a technique that could ensnare and overwhelm his opponent with a barrage of blood spears. But he quickly dismissed the idea. "Using the bloodfield against someone who specializes in Lightning Release?" Kira thought to himself. "It would be useless. Lightning would easily pierce through it, and using the bloodfield would weaken me significantly."

The idea of using mind control crossed his mind as well, but he shook it off just as quickly. "No. I won't grow powerful if I keep relying on these crutches. I must face him head-on, with my own strength."

His eyes narrowed as he made his decision. "I'll use Thunder Breathing. It's the only way."

Darui's eyes were locked on Kira, his expression unreadable, but Kira could feel the undercurrent of tension. The elite jounin's chakra flared as he prepared to strike, but Kira knew he couldn't afford to be reckless. He had to be precise, calculating.

As the seconds ticked by, Kira's mind worked rapidly. He needed to buy time, to create an opening for his attack. His gaze flickered to Itachi, who was fighting alongside Kakashi. "If I can't defeat Darui outright, then I need to ensure we get the information we came for."

"Weasel-senpai," Kira called out, his voice cutting through the tense silence. "Copy the information on the Poneglyph with your Sharingan. We need to withdraw soon."

Kakashi and Itachi both looked at him, their expressions betraying their surprise. But Kira didn't waver. There was no time to explain. They had to act, and they had to do it now.

Darui moved, his body shifting into an aggressive stance as he prepared to launch his attack. But before he could, Kira suddenly jumped into the air, his body soaring upward in a seemingly reckless maneuver.

The Cloud Shinobi and even the Konoha forces watched in disbelief. "Why jump so high in the air without a flight ability?" they thought. "Is he advertising himself to be attacked?"

Darui's eyes narrowed as he followed Kira's ascent, his hands already forming seals for a Lightning Release jutsu. The elite jounin was ready to strike, his expression set in a determined scowl. But just as Darui prepared to unleash his attack, Kira smirked, his eyes gleaming with confidence.

And then, to the shock of everyone watching, Kira began to stomp in the air, propelling himself higher and higher. Each stomp sent a ripple through the air, as if he was leaping off invisible platforms. It was Geppo, a technique that allowed him to step on air itself, keeping him aloft and moving with incredible agility.

The sight was nothing short of astonishing. Kira seemed to defy gravity itself, moving through the air with a grace and speed that left even the most seasoned shinobi baffled. He looked down at Darui, a look of calm superiority on his face, as if he were a god looking down at a mere mortal.

"This kid…" one of the Cloud Shinobi muttered, his voice filled with disbelief. "Does he use any known techniques? Everything he does is out of the ordinary!"

Kakashi, still locked in combat but stealing glances at the spectacle, couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. Kira was no ordinary genin; that much was clear. But even Kakashi hadn't expected something like this.

Kira continued to leap and stomp through the air, his eyes never leaving Darui. He called down to him, his voice carrying a tone of mock respect. "Darui-senpai, you should be honored," Kira said, his voice echoing across the battlefield. "You will be the first in the Shinobi World to witness my newly created technique: the Thunder Breathing technique."

The words hung in the air, their weight sinking in slowly. Kira's challenge was clear, and it sent a ripple of shock through the ranks of the Cloud Shinobi. But it was Darui who felt the most insulted, his pride wounded by the audacity of this Konoha genin.

"A mere genin," Darui growled, his voice laced with anger. "Asking to compare lightning techniques with me? You dare say this to a Cloud elite jounin?"

His chakra surged, crackling with electrical energy as he prepared to unleash his full power. But Kira remained calm, his gaze locked on Darui, unflinching in the face of the jounin's fury. He was ready. This was the moment he had been preparing for, the moment to prove that his Thunder Breathing was a force to be reckoned with.

As the storm gathered above them, the tension between the two shinobi reached its peak. The battle that was about to unfold would be one for the history books, a clash of lightning and thunder that would leave an indelible mark on all who witnessed it.

And Kira, with his unwavering resolve and unshakable confidence, was ready to make his mark.

Kira floated high above the battlefield, his form silhouetted against the darkened sky as he faced Darui. The tension was palpable, the very air charged with electricity as both shinobi prepared to unleash their full power. Kira knew this battle could be the turning point, not just for the mission but for his own growth as a warrior.

Darui's chakra flared ominously, crackling with the familiar energy of Lightning Release. Below them, the battlefield seemed to hold its breath, the fighting momentarily stilled as all eyes turned to the sky. The shinobi from both sides knew they were about to witness something extraordinary.

Kira's heart pounded in his chest, adrenaline coursing through him like a river. His breath was steady, controlled—Thunder Breathing, the technique he had poured his soul into mastering, was ready to be unleashed. He channeled his chakra, feeling it surge through his body, mixing with the natural energy he had unknowingly absorbed, giving him overwhelming power.

He shot a final glance at Darui, his expression one of cold determination, before launching himself into the sky with a powerful leap. The air rushed past him as he ascended higher, and then he spoke, his voice firm and resonant.

"Thunder Breathing, First Form: Thunderclap and Flash—Godspeed!"

In an instant, Kira vanished from sight, his speed blurring the line between reality and illusion. A crackling trail of lightning followed his path, bright bolts shooting out in all directions as he reappeared behind Darui. His blade slashed through the air with lightning speed, sending arcs of electricity rippling through the battlefield. The impact of his attack split the ground beneath them, sending debris flying in every direction, and Darui barely managed to block with a hastily conjured Lightning Release technique. The clash of energy sent sparks flying, and the force drove Darui back several meters, leaving a scorched trail in his wake.

But Kira wasn't done. Without pausing, he moved again, his body flickering with speed and leaving a zigzagging trail of crackling lightning behind him as he darted above Darui.

"Second Form: Rice Spirit!"

Kira unleashed a series of powerful, arcing slashes that rippled through the air like bolts of lightning striking down from the heavens. Each strike was accompanied by a deafening crack of thunder, and visible arcs of electricity lashed out from his blade, carving deep trenches into the ground below. The battlefield was transformed into a storm of chaos, the sheer devastation of Kira's techniques causing the other shinobi to halt their battles, all attention now focused on the duel between him and Darui.

Darui responded with a counterattack, his hands weaving through a series of rapid seals.

"Lightning Release: Black Panther!"

A surge of black lightning erupted from his hands, forming the shape of a panther that roared as it charged toward Kira. The attack was swift and deadly, but Kira was faster, his body moving with inhuman speed as he utilized both Soru and Geppo to dodge the panther's lunges. Each evasion left a blur of lightning in the air, a testament to the raw speed and power of Kira's Thunder Breathing technique.

Kira's eyes narrowed as he saw an opening. He moved again, his body flickering with speed and leaving a trail of electrical energy crackling in his wake.

"Fourth Form: Rumble and Flash!"

He thrust his blade forward, the air around it crackling with intense electrical energy. A blinding flash of light followed, accompanied by a thunderous boom as Kira's attack collided with Darui's defenses. The sheer force of the clash sent shockwaves through the battlefield, shaking the ground and throwing nearby shinobi off their feet. Bolts of lightning erupted from the point of impact, splitting the air with their crackling intensity.

Darui grunted, feeling the pressure of Kira's relentless assault. He could no longer afford to hold back. With a grimace, he activated his chakra mode, a shroud of lightning enveloping his body, amplifying his speed and power to frightening levels. His eyes locked onto Kira, who was already preparing his next move.

Kira could sense the shift in the battle. Darui's chakra had become a roaring torrent, the air around him buzzing with lethal energy. Kira knew he needed to up the ante, to match Darui's newfound power with everything he had.

As Darui launched himself at Kira with blinding speed, Kira responded in kind, using Soru to evade the attacks. He reappeared with a flash of light, leaving a zigzagging trail of lightning behind him as he moved.

"Third Form: Thunder Swarm!"

A rapid barrage of electrically charged strikes followed, Kira's movements a blur as he rained down blows upon Darui from all directions. The air crackled with each strike, and bolts of lightning shot out with every movement, carving deep furrows into the earth below. Darui was forced onto the defensive, each impact driving him back as he struggled to keep up with Kira's relentless assault.

But Kira's stamina was beginning to wane. The sheer intensity of the battle was taking its toll, his breathing becoming heavier, his movements slightly slower. He knew he couldn't keep this up for much longer. He needed to end it, and he needed to do it now.

He jumped back, putting distance between himself and Darui, who looked equally battered but far from defeated. Kira took a deep breath, gathering the last reserves of his strength as he prepared for his final, most devastating move.

He raised his sword high, his eyes blazing with determination. The sky above them darkened further, as if responding to the immense power Kira was about to unleash. Thunder rumbled ominously, and the air around him seemed to vibrate with the sheer intensity of the energy he was channeling.

"Thunder Breathing, Seventh Form: Honoikazuchi no Kami—Flaming Thunder God!"

Kira launched himself downward, his body surrounded by a maelstrom of electrical energy. Visible arcs of lightning shot out from him, creating a blinding aura of thunder and flame as he descended upon Darui like a wrathful deity. Bolts of lightning erupted from the sky, converging on Kira's blade as he prepared to strike.

The impact was cataclysmic. A blinding flash of light engulfed the battlefield, followed by a deafening explosion as Kira's attack hit the ground. The shockwave was so powerful that it sent shinobi flying in all directions, friend and foe alike, as the ground itself seemed to erupt in a storm of fire and lightning. Bolts of lightning shot out from the crater, arcing across the battlefield and striking down anything in their path.

When the light finally faded, the battlefield was unrecognizable. The ground was scorched and torn apart, a deep crater left where Kira's attack had struck. Smoke and ash filled the air, and the stunned shinobi who had been watching the battle were left speechless by the sheer devastation.

Kira stood at the center of the destruction, his breath coming in ragged gasps, his body trembling from the exertion. Darui was nowhere to be seen, but Kira knew he couldn't afford to let his guard down. He scanned the battlefield, ready for any sign of movement.

But the battlefield was silent, the only sound the crackling of residual lightning and the distant rumble of thunder. Kira took a moment to steady himself, realizing the magnitude of the technique he had just unleashed. It was a move of terrifying power, one that had left even him in awe of its destructive potential.

As the dust settled and the smoke began to clear, the shinobi around him slowly began to pick themselves up, their expressions a mix of shock and disbelief. Kira looked around, his eyes meeting those of his comrades and enemies alike. He had made his mark, not just on the battlefield, but in the minds of everyone who had witnessed the power of Thunder Breathing.
