Chapitre 290: Army II

Noticing the fallen food and the smug look on the guy's face as he passed by, Joon-won felt his anger flare up for the first time since arriving at the base. Without overthinking it, he subtly stuck his leg out. The guy, oblivious to Joon-won's leg in his path, tripped and face-planted onto the floor. Joon-won quickly retracted his leg, making it look like an accident.

"Karma's a real thing, huh," Joon-won muttered under his breath as the guy slowly stood up, now covered in the food he had spilled.

Joon-won knew the guy; they were in the same regiment. He was probably the fittest of the group, always the first to finish the drills and exercises. His name was Private Chul-soo, and his arrogance had rubbed many the wrong way.
