Grunting my displeasure, I turned back to look at the woman. "Sorry, Sweetheart, he doesn't seem to remember you," I said with a self-satisfied smirk on my face.

She briefly glanced at me before turning her attention back to Wang Chao. "I am Hua Mei," she said, introducing herself, and I could see the man who had tried to lead her to safety stiffen behind her.
