"A day?!" Rosa shrieked with wide eyes.

Fjord shrunk. "Or maybe hours if we hurry. . ."

"We don't have a day to fend off this thing!" Rosa didn't know what to do — a day of nonstop fighting the undead until they reached City X?

"Maybe the subway and tunnel aren't crawling with undead," Kai popped in with optimism.

Rosa crossed her arms. "Or maybe we can rest in the subway as well and dine in one of their restaurants while we're at it," she spat and sneered, "Of course, we have to expect that there would be undead there! This place is crawling with them!"

Kai's dead eye looked to the other side. Lips pressed tight and downcast. He didn't retort anymore.

Ryu appeared beside Rosa and everyone with Seraphina in his arms. "We'll just have to look for ourselves."
