Jake... or Subaru now, shouted as he looked towards the sky, the people around him, lizards, dogs, and more in human shape, had weird looks on their faces as they looked at Subaru.
Subaru quickly noticed the looks he was getting, but he couldn't care less right now, he was in the body of the most tragic character, even more tragic than Guts, and I didn't want to hear it.
"Tch!, just my luck huh?"
Subaru looked around and picked a way to walk, if he was in this body, the least he could do is not be near Emilia as he would most likely be killed, and he does not know if he has returned by death.
"I should move far away from Emilia... wait, if I do that, wouldn't she die?"
Subaru suddenly has an even more stressed face, if Emily dies, then Puck will destroy or rather, freeze the whole town or kingdom before Reinhard can kill him.
And there is no way he can outrun Puck, even if he is not involved he would probably get killed by him, as he is the beast of the end, damn it, why him of all people.
With a sigh, Subaru walked towards an alley that looked quite like the one that Subaru walked in, but if he wanted to survive he had no choice, either do and die or not and still die.
And if he has to die, he would rather try and change his fate, if he can even change his fate if that is possible.
"What is that smell?"
Subaru suddenly started smelling something, he sniffed the air, and then he remembered, that Subaru was wearing an unwashed jersey at the time of his summoning, and sneakers that he had already worn for 2 years.
"Oh god damn it, that bastard could not at least wear good clothes?"
Subaru gritted his teeth in frustration if he met Emilia, he would rather leave a good impression of himself if possible, speaking of impression, he should probably not act stupid like Subaru.
Subaru suddenly paused as he heard footsteps, judging by the disco-ordinated steps, it was more than 1 but less than 5 people, he quickly looked up, and there they were, 3 men.
The men gazed at him with scorn and contempt as Subaru appraised them. They appeared to be in their mid-twenties. Their clothes were filthy and it was as though their inner evil had manifested on their faces. They weren't subhuman, but they couldn't be called decent humans either
"Damn, this the so-called compulsory event that Subaru was talking about"
Subaru calmly stood up from the dirty steps, wiping the dirt from his butt down, he slowly looked at the grinning man facing him, and he walked away from the entrance.
"Gentleman, the entrance is now free"
Subaru gestured towards the exit, where he was sitting a few seconds ago, But Subaru was not stupid, he knew they were bandits as he had watched the anime.
Subaru has never fought before just like the original Subaru, but he knows that these bandits are nothing without some sort of weapon, Subaru managed to beat them in a few moments after all.
"Is he stupid?"
"Maybe he doesn't get what's going on, Should we teach him?"
The 3 men looked at Subaru in question and then they grinned as they realized that they had an easy target on their hands.
"Woah there gentlemen, I think we should all back up, we don't want things to get bad, now would we?"
Subaru slowly walked forward to close the distance while the 3 looked at him in wonder and confusion, and a slight amount of mocking on their dirty facial structure.
"I don't care what you say, but we are going to kill you for underestimating us"
"Excuse me gentleman, or rather, unloved children whose mothers abandoned them as they were an accident of a one-night stand"
The bandits froze at the insult, Subaru seeing this quickly took action, Subaru dashed towards the Man at the front, and his full-powered right impacted the chin of the man.
Instantly the man's eyes turned white, and his body went limp as his knees gave out from under him, Subaru grinned at this, even though he never knew how to fight, he watched Baki before.
What is the most common way to knock someone out in Baki, the chin?
Subaru looked at the second closest person, and while the man was still in shock, he decided to use one of the most painful ways to attack, learned from Baki too, he drew his leg back, and with full force, his shin impacted the balls of the man.
The man's eyes turned white as saliva started flowing out from his mouth excessively, and then he collapsed on himself, his face landing first, and his ass facing the sky.
Subaru turned towards the last man, and he calmed down and began taking the situation even more seriously, the man had a knife in his hand after all.
"Come at me"
Subaru slowly lifted his hand and dared the man to attack him, the man gritted his teeth at the provocation, and he angrily attacked Subaru, just as Subaru intended.
In his anger, the man did the attack that Subaru most anticipated, every man in a manga or anime does this attack first, a stab.
Squelch!
"AHHHHH!"
Subaru shouted out in pain, and the knife stabbed its hilt deep into his palm, But that was his plan all along, his open palm clamped down on the hand of the bandit.
"Bitch!, take this"
With pain like he never felt before, and anger boosting his adrenaline and making his body stronger and faster, he pulled his hand back, and he made a slight knuckle with his 2 forefingers.
With all his strength, he drove his knuckles which acted as a knuckleduster, into the man's temple, hitting the nerve that was there, Subaru groaned as he felt his fingers crack slightly.
But it was worth it, Subaru felt the temple of the man dent in, and he felt something pop, probably the nerve in his temple, and then he dashed with the knife toward the bandit, pushing him to the ground.

Subaru heard a slight robotic voice, but the pain in his hand, and the sound of running towards him drew him out of his Daze, and he looked up at the figure running towards him.
It was a girl, she looked petite.
She had a small frame, and she wore shabby clothes. Her eyes suggested a strong will and her fang-like canine protruded mischievously. She looked a bit cheeky too.
Subaru took the knife out of the man's hand and made sure to keep it in the wound so, as to not lose too much blood, after all, he does not know if he has returned by death like Subaru.
Subaru stood up onto his own 2 feet wobbly, and he groaned in pain as he looked at the blood pooling under his hand, keeping the knife in the wound can only do so much.
"Hey, are you okay?"
Subaru looked towards the voice, and he sighed as he noticed the girl, she was Emilia, he gotta admit, she was a different kind of beauty, with white flowless straight hair going to her back, a round but fit face, and purple eyes that draw you in, along with her cute ears.
"I don't think I am okay"
With those words, Subaru fell, his word going dizzy, but he was not unconscious due to his decision to keep the weapon in his hand.
"Oh No!"
