Chapitre 88: Warriors

Erik and Mia stood frozen and watching in horror as Valeria's fists continued to slam into Vekkir's face. His groans of pain filled the room. Erik's jaw tightened, his fists clenched by his sides. His heart pounded with helpless rage.

Mia's face was taut, her knuckles turning white as she balled her fists, fighting the urge to act. But she couldn't stand it any longer. Without thinking, she surged forward.

"Stop it!"

However, before she could reach Valeria, Netharos stepped forward and grabbing her arm. In that instant, Erik moved reflexively. His fist connected with Netharos's face in a quick motion. The impact sending Netharos crashing into the wall with a sickening thud.

Erik's breath was ragged as he turned to Valeria. "You better stop it. Now."
