Chapitre 110: Shackle

Valeria watched as the last of the first wave disappeared into the portal. She remained still on the platform, her dark wings folded behind her. She didn't need to rush. The chaos would soon unfold in Asgard and she was certain her forces would succeed in their initial strike. They were prepared, there are not many Aesir god or army there, and Netharos's clone had already opened the gate for them from inside. It was just a matter of time before the gods began to crumble.

Instead of joining the fight, Valeria had other matters to attend to. She turned away from the portal and made her way through the twisting corridors of her stronghold. Her destination was Vekkir.

Reaching Vekkir's quarters, Valeria opened the heavy wooden door without knocking. Inside, the blacksmith sat at a cluttered table, surrounded by plates and cups from his most recent meal. He had been treated well, rewarded for his cooperation with good food and a comfortable room.
