Chapitre 179: Dinner With Rachel

I might just be looking at it too deeply and have misunderstood her or something. But I don't know… She just doesn't sit right with me. It's probably how her eyes would look at me from head to foot. It's just so… condescending... 

Even though she literally has a smile pasted on her face, it's not reflecting friendliness at all. At best, she just seemed fake and pretentious. That's what my guts are telling me, and it never failed me once.

"Are you alright? Do you feel hot?" Keith suddenly asked when he noticed that I had gone silent.

"The sun is not even that intense," I responded-- "I was just a little peeved."

And that I am. Ever since that Rachel appeared and started ogling my man like she's not with her husband or anything. Now that I am thinking about it again, my anger meter is just steadily rising.

Keith brushes his hair up and stares at me imploringly.

"And why is that?"
