"Woah!" said all the Buggy pirates in awe as they looked up at the Red Line. The word 'enormous' wouldn't do it justice as it was simply out of this world. Even I froze for a good second after seeing it and I knew about it and had seen it in the anime.
"It's just like the captain described." said another pirate, making all the pirates turn their heads to Buggy with stars in their eyes. This pirate crew was now bordering on being a cult.
"Gyahahaha." Buggy laughed as he reveled in their worship. Even Alvida looked impressed with Buggy.
"Remember you're taking me to Whiskey Peak on Cactus Island," I said making everyone shiver in fright. They preferred to pretend like I wasn't around since I have been, well, torturing them whenever I got a panic attack these past few days.
....
The ride up the reverse mountain was as thrilling as I thought it would be. But it didn't last long as we were soon barrelling down the current and I saw the Twin Capes.
"Slow down the ship, we're stopping by the lighthouses!" shouted Buggy.
Like he had ordered we stopped by the lighthouse for a few minutes where Buggy went down alone and returned with a log pose and a Paradise Map which was swiftly used to travel towards Cactus Island. When asked about it, Buggy responded by saying the lighthouse keeper was an old subordinate of his, while I knew Buggy had bawled his eyes out and begged Crocus for it from the roughly dried-up white patches under his eyes.
Thanks to Buggy's luck, the weather from Twin Capes to Cactus Island which we could now see from the ship was very clear and sunny. There were pretty big cactus-like round mountains all over the Island, but the mist around them prevented us from seeing the graves.
We took the river that flowed through the center of the Island where Whiskey Peak was.
"Yeah!!! Welcome to the Grand Line!" "Pirates! My Heroes!!" "Welcome to Whiskey Peak!" "Welcome Brave Heroes of the Sea!!"
Just like in the show, as soon we turned around a corner to see Whisky Peak, we were greeted with cheers and a celebration.
"Wow." said a Pirate as he looked at the townsmen cheering us on.
"Maybe the Grand Line isn't so bad." said another as he was waving back at the cheers. Buggy who had actually been in the Grand Line before looked confused and somewhat cautious.
We quickly docked on the Island and unlike the 30 million dollar Luffy who they thought they had to drug first before making a move, the Jolly Roger on this ship is for the Buggy Pirates worth 15 million so as soon as everyone was off the ship I could see figures subtly positioning themselves on rooftops and the ones who greeted us were slowly reaching for their weapons.
'They don't think we're a big threat like Luffy, huh?' I thought as my purple eyes quickly scanned through the greeting party and landed on the one who fitted Igaram or Mr 8's appearance the most and made a mental note to spare him from what I was about to unleash.
I quickly took pow-pow from my waist with superhuman dexterity and a grin on my face as I pressed the trigger and felt the barrels start spinning.
I saw Mr 8 and Mrs Monday react fast to try and get away, but it they weren't nearly as fast as I was.
*Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!**Bang!* ...
Bullets rained the bounty hunters tearing them apart as I slowly turned my torso to aim for more. My unexpected attack shocked the Buggy pirates, but Buggy who was already suspicious caught on very fast.
"Shit, it was a very flashy trap! Kill everyone!" he shouted and his crew took out their guns and joined me in the mass homicide.
I finally let go of the trigger on pow-pow and couldn't help but find the scene familiar. It seems everywhere Jinx, no I go there is a mountain of corpses. My mind wandered back to how I killed Mylo and Cleggor and I could see everything around me start flashing in a familiar Purple, blue, and red as my mind threatened to go haywire again.
"Tsk." I mouthed as my mood was immediately crushed. I pushed it to the back of my mind and forcefully focused on the reason I even bothered coming here, Igaram and his Eternal Pose to Arabasta.
I put back pow-pow on my waist, pulled out Zapper, and started walking towards where Igaram had run off to. I had been keeping an eye on him the whole time I was firing pow-pow and as soon as I started firing, he and Mrs Monday jumped into the nearest house, whose door I was now standing before.
I gripped Zapper a little bit harder as I burst through the door and quickly looked around to find Mrs. Monday already upon me, her massive fist in steel knuckles barrelling toward my face.
I would have toyed with them a bit had my mood not been spoiled. I quickly jumped to the side effectively evading her and swiftly placed Zapper's barrel on her temple. Seeing movement from the corner of my eye, I jumped back outside doing a back flip as bullets riddled where I was standing the previous moment.
Mrs Monday didn't waste the chance as she burst through the wall beside the door, charging for my head. I charged for her as well and parried her punch to the side while delivering a powerful knee to her guts that hurled her back into the house she came from. She clearly didn't expect me to be this strong, and unknown to her I was actually physically stronger than her.
"Come out, Mr Captain of the Royal Guard. I want to have a good old talk with you." I said my smile now slowly returning. That physical bout with Mrs Monday had given me a good dose of adrenaline that was making my mood start to rise again.
