The forest was dense.
There wasn't much room to move around, yet no time to stop.
We didn't know what was happening to Chloe right now. So we had to hurry.
I couldn't lose another.
The forest grew quiet over time as if something was waiting for us on the other side.
_______
Chloe stared at the Arcanine in fear, not knowing what to do she grabbed the nearest stick she could find.
The Arcanine opened its mouth to go in for a bite.
Using the stick she stopped the attack.
The Arcanine bites down on the stick, snapping it in half but giving Chloe enough time to run.
The Arcanine watches her as she ran away, licking its lips before pursuing any further.
Chloe kept on running not looking back for even a second.
"Crap, crap, crap!" She cursed herself repeatedly as she ran.
She could hear the footsteps of the Arcanine running after her.
The breathing, the heavy footsteps, the growling, all of it sends shivers down her spine as she ran.
"Min!" She heard the cry of a pokemon as she ran ahead.
She saw a Minchinno in a log calling out to her.
Listening to its cries, she ran in its direction taking cover in the log.
The Arcanine sniffs around to try and find her and she stares on in worry but the Minchinno grabs her hand with its little paws and tried to guide her somewhere.
______
"Ok! Time to go." Blue said, packing up his stuff.
"Already?" Burge asked with a disappointed tone.
"It's been two hours," Blue said
"I suppose you're right." Burge shrugged.
"Where are the others?" Blue asked.
"I don't know."
"Kenzo and Ayuna went to look for pokemon and Chloe was following one as well."
"Why did you let them wander off??" Blue asked in a panic.
"Well, they're trainers, aren't they? Stopping them from catching a new pokemon just seemed cruel."
"You're way too laid back.." Blue sighed and started to walk off.
"Where are you going?" Burgh asked.
"To find the kids!"
__________
Chloe kept following the Minchinno and was led out of the log.
By the time she got out her eyes were met with a beautiful part of the forest with a singular tree in the center that branched out so far that its leaves covers the area.
The tree had an angelic glow to it, lighting up any flower or petals in its presence.
"Woah..."
