Chapter 68: Go West! Young Meowth! Go East! Young Mew!

(One bright morning in Pallet Town.)

(Mew, Brock and Tomo are doing some exercises.)

(getting ready for the Pokemon League at Professor Oak's lab.)

(Pikachu, Eevee, Skwovet, and Meloetta are exercising too.)

Brock: "I'm really breaking a sweat today! It feels great to workout!"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "You know me, nothing I love more than getting a nice, hard workout!"

(Mew says.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Oh, yeah!)

(Pikachu agrees.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (You said it!)

(Eevee replies.)

(In the living room close by.)

(Misty is sitting on the couch having some tea while Togepi and Pichu watch.)

Misty: "Those guys are sure working hard, especially Mew. And she's also working hard with the remote to watch Pokemon Matches, Pokemon Documentary, and Healthy Pokemon advice."

(Misty says.)

Togepi: "Togi Togi!" (Working hard!)

(Togepi happily says.)

Pichu: "Pichu," (Really hard.)

(Pichu replies.)

(Soon, Mew and her friends have finished exercising and walked inside.)

Mew: "We're all done with exercising, and we sure got a workout."

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "What should we do now?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "Hmm, I'm not sure,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, they hear a strange sound.)

Misty: "What's that?"

(Misty wonders.)

Brock: "Let's go see,"

(Brock says.)

(The group hurry outside and down to the corral to hear what the noise is.)

(Suddenly, a large net has been dropped over them and has them trapped.)

(The group panic as the net lifts them up in the air.)

Misty: "What's going on?!"

(Misty exclaims.)

Mew: "There's only one group of bad guys I could think of."

(Mew says.)

(And right on cue, the Team Rocket motto appears.)

Jessie: Prepare for trouble!

James: Make it double!

(The group looks up to see the Team Rocket balloon the net is hanging from.)

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

James: To unite all peoples within our nation!

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie: Jessie!

James: James!

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight!

Meowth: Meowth! That's flight!

Everyone: "Team Rocket!"

(The group exclaims.)

Mew: "Let us out of here!"

(Mew shouts.)

Jessie: "Sorry twerps, but we need to get you out of the way while we talk all your Pokemon."

(Jessie says.)

James: "And that includes Pikachu and Eevee!"

(James says.)

Meowth: "Now hand them over and make it snappy!"

(Meowth says.)

Mew: "No way!"

(Mew denies.)

Meowth: "Well then you'll just have to stay for the ride while we use our new Rocket boosters!"

(Meowth says, and presses the button on a remote.)

(The side of the balloon soon reveals two rocket boosters.)

Jessie: "Make sure you stay in the net!"

(Jessie says.)

James: "And hold on cause we're in for a ride!"

(James says.)

(Mewoth then presses the button and the Rocket Boosters shift into high gear to speed the balloon at top speed.)

(Perhaps a little too fast.)

(The blast is taking them far from Pallet Town, and to who knows where.)

(The rocket booster continues to fly fast and is heading to wherever the rockets take them.)

(Jessie screams.)

Jessie: "This rocket is going too fast!"

James: "Talk about having a lot of horsepower!"

(James panics.)

Meowth: "I'll see if I can stop it!"

(Meowth screams and presses the button.)

(With that, the rocket comes to a stop.)

(but then it turns around to begin to reverse at top speed.)

(That causes the net with Mew and her friends over and lands in the basket, and crushes Team Rocket.)

Mew: "This rocket is going too fast!"

(Mew panics.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (You said it!)

(Pikachu panics.)

(Eevee screams.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (This is too much.)

(Luckily, Mew and the others are able to get out of the net.)

(but they still feel the balloon is going too fast on the rockets.)

(Jessie screams.)

Jessie: "Excuse us, but you're crushing us!"

Misty: "It can't get worse than this!"

(Misty panics.)

(Just then, Togepi finds the button and presses it.)

(With that, the rocket changes directions again and speeds around and goes all over the place.)

(Just then, Pichu and Togepi begin to play with the button.)

(making the rocket change directions and making it go crazy.)

(Soon, they end up in what looks like a rundown old town.)

(James takes the remote.)

James: "Stop it, you're making me airsick!"

(Just then, the balloon ends up bumping into a sharp edge of one of the buildings, popping the balloon.)

(With that, the balloon is sent flying and going all over the place.)

(Suddenly, two of the passengers in the balloon have fallen off the balloon and towards the grounds of the city.)

(At the same time, the balloon flies like crazy and dives down just outside of the city with a loud crash.)

(In the forest outside of the town.)

(Misty, Tomo, Brock, and the Pokemon have landed on the bushes.)

(As for Jessie and James, they are stuck in the tree in their hot air balloon.)

Tomo: "Wow! That was crazy!"

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "Talk about one insane ride!"

(Misty says.)

(The Pokemon regain themselves and shake their heads to shake off the dizziness.)

(Jessie looks out of the basket.)

Jessie: "Finally, we stop spinning."

James: "I think I'm about to lose my lunch,"

(James says.)

(Brock looks around and notices someone's missing.)

Brock: "Where's Mew?"

Misty: "Mew's gone?!"

(Misty asks, looking around.)

(Soon, Jessie and James notice someone is missing.)

Jessie and James: "Meowth's missing too!"

(Meanwhile, somewhere in the rundown city, there is a large amount of old clothes, blankets, mattresses, and such.)

(Coming out of the pile is Mew.)

Mew: "Ow. I think my head is still spinning."

(Mew says.)

(Just then, Meowth comes out.)

Meowth: "Can someone stop the roller coaster? I really want to get off."

(Feeling dizzy.)

(Mew and Meowth turn their heads and exclaim in shock.)

Mew and Meowth: "Meowth/Little Twerpette!"

Mew: "What are you doing here?"

(Mew asks.)

Meowth: "The same way you did. I think we both fell off the balloon and landed here."

(Meowth says.)

(Mew looks around.)

Mew: "You're right."

(Then takes out her Pokenav.)

(She looks at the screen to see that it.)

(has a signal and is able to pinpoint their location.)

Mew: "There we go. This is supposed to be a town called Hollywood."

(Mew says.)

(Hearing the name of the town made Meowth shocked.)

Meowth: "Hollywood?! I… I haven't been here in years."

(Mew looks to notice Meowth is beyond shock.)

(After getting out of the pile and beginning to walk around.)

(Mew and Meowth look at each other with skeptical looks.)

(not sure what to say.)

(Mew then looks around to see the city is old and rundown.)

(there are plenty of places boarded up and shatter windows.)

(Mew turns to Meowth and says.)

Mew: "So, you've been here before…"

Meowth: "Yeah. It's a long time ago. Of course, there's more to it than just living here."

(Meowth says.)

Mew: "Hey Meowth, there's something I always want to ask you."

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "What's that?"

(Meowth asks.)

Mew: "How did you learn how to talk… like a person. I've always been curious."

(Mew says.)

(Meowth turns to Mew.)

Meowth: "Really, cause I've always been curious about you. How can a human like you be raised by Pokemon and understand them?"

Mew: "Oh, it's a bit of a long story."

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, they both begin to have grumbling stomachs.)

Meowth: "I guess I'm getting a little hungry,"

(Meowth says, sheepish.)

Mew: "Me too. Maybe we can have something to eat. I have some sandwiches, Pokemon food and berries if you want."

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "Sounds fair, but maybe we can work on a compromise. I'll tell you my story and you tell me yours."

(Meowth says.)

Mew: "Deal,"

(Mew says.)

(Just at the outskirts of the city, Misty and the others are walking into the city.)

Misty: "I wonder if Mew ended up there."

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Maybe, but the place looks rundown."

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "Yeah,"

(Tomo says.)

(Then Tomo turns to see Jessie and James.)

Tomo: "Remind me why you decided to come?

Jessie: "Well, Meowth might be in the city too, you little twerp."

(Jessie says.)

(Misty glares at Jessie.)

Misty: "That, and that it's your fault Meowth and Mew have fallen off the balloon.

James: "Our fault?!"

(James exclaims.)

Tomo: "Yeah You tried to capture us,"

(Tomo says.)

Brock: "Come on guys, we don't have time to argue."

(Brock says.)

(Then walks ahead.)

Brock: "The sooner we find Mew and Meowth, the sooner we can go our separate ways."

(Brock walks ahead.)

(Misty, Tomo, and the Pokemon follow after.)

(Jessie and James reluctantly follow after them.)

(Meanwhile, in the city, Mew and Meowth find a place to sit.)

(while having some sandwiches, berries, and some milk.)

Meowth: "Thanks. Now then, I'll tell you my story."

(Meowth says.)

(Then explain.)

Meowth: "My story's a bitter sweet one, like a cheap chocolate bar. The first thing I remember was being alone. No family. No friends. No home! My stomach was empty, and so was my heart. Even a basket of baseballs looked good enough to eat."

Mew: "You tried to eat a baseball?"

(Mew says, confused.)

Meowth: "Uh yeah. I was very young back then. Course the boys who saw me tied me to a tree. I cried and cried and finally cried myself to sleep. Then, something woke me up. It was a movie called 'That Darn Meowth.' It was being played outdoors. I'll never forget what I saw on that screen. Ice cream. Fried chicken. I knew what I had to do. Go west, young Meowth! Go west to Hollywood! The place where there was ice cream, and fried chicken, waiting just for me! I hitched my dream to a truck headed for Hollywood, and Tinsel Town was the light at the end of the tunnel!"

(Meowth says.)

Mew: "Sounds like you had a rough life."

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "I sure did. And it sure got rougher when I got to the city. Of course, seeing how the city is now, it's shocking to see how it is. This sure ain't the town it used to be."

(Meowth says.)

Mew: "I see. So what happens next?"

(Mew replies.)

Meowth: "Well, this part of town's fallen on hard times, but times weren't always hard here, at least for me. Of course, I still had to steal my own food. Their streets of Hollywood were colder than the ice cream I craved. Nobody cared about a young, hungry Meowth. My life was at a dead end. Until I met them…"

(Meowth says.)

Mew: "Them?"

(Mew asks.)

Meowth: "I met up with a Meowth gang with a Persian as their leader. They were able to get me something to eat and I joined them. Then we went stealing more food. And then, The next day, I tasted fried chicken for the first time in my life! I ate and ate, but I was still starving, for love, And then. And then I met, her."

(Meowth explains.)

(He then turns to what looks like a closed up store that's been boarded up.)

Mew: "Who's her?"

(Mew asks.)

Meowth: "A young and pretty Meowth named Meowzie. Turns out she belongs to a rich lady. I tried to do what I could to impress her, but she just ignored me."

(Meowth explains.)

(Then says.)

Meowth: "The rick lady arrives and her back with a Pokeball covered in gems. I saw the way she looked at those jewels. I knew I didn't stand a chance. How could I compete with diamonds? 'In Meowthland', which Meowzie told me, 'she's a rich lady and she can buy me anything that I want. And what are you? You're not rich. You're not even human. You're just a street Meowth. You'll never be human, so just forget about me. That's when I decided that 'If I wanted her, I had to make myself a human!"

Mew: "Really? So, you decided to try talking because of her?"

(Mew asks.)

Meowth: "That's right."

(Meowth answers.)

(Then explains.)

Meowth: "To win Meowzie's love, I had to be human. And humans walk on two legs, not four. So I learned to walk like a person. A weird person, but a person. It was a little slower than I usually do on fours, but soon I could walk on two legs! But I couldn't run fast enough, and he caught me. And that's when I learned to crawl. Talking was hard, but I wouldn't give up. I keep reading, writing, speaking, and even writing poetry. I had my heart set on Meowzie, so I kept running, and I kept getting caught. But I got a little faster every day. I continue trying to read and speak, until Finally I say, Hey! She sells seashells! Of course, I didn't know what seashells were, but I was finally talking. So I got myself a picture book and tried to figure out the alphabet. As time went by, I was able to learn how to talk, and soon, I felt like I was ready to see Meowzie."

(Meowth sighs.)

Meowth: "I thought she would love me, but I was wrong. She said that I was nothing but a freak, not a Pokemon, not a human, just a freak. And then I thought, 'She thinks I'm a freak, does she? Well, I'll show her! I'll become the richest, most powerful freak she ever saw! Then she'll come crawling back to me, begging for my love!' That was the last I ever saw of Meowzie, Hollywood, or my old gang. I joined up with Team Rocket to become rich and powerful, but my dream just never came true."

Mew: "That was a very sad story. I had no idea you had a rough life. If it had been me, I would never dislike you no matter what happens. I guess Meowzie just didn't think of how her words could affect you."

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "I suppose, but it was a nice thing to say. Even though we're enemies. Now then, how about you tell me your story."

(Meowth says.)

Mew: "Oh yeah. Well to be honest, I've actually been able to talk to Pokemon my whole life. Even as a baby, I've always been able to understand what Pokemon are saying, so I tried to talk to them back. To tell the truth, I don't even know who my family were. My papa, Zeraora, who was the master and protector of the forest, found me floating down the river when I was a baby. Soon, my papa decided to adopt me and raise me himself. My papa told me that I was a bit of a curious and a naughty baby. I've always crawled around and met up with any Pokemon I can meet. I even wondered off, drove him nuts."

(Mew says.)

(Meowth chuckles and says.)

Meowth: "Even as a baby you get yourself into trouble."

Mew: "Um yeah. When three years have gone by, I met up with the Pokemon, Mew, and how my papa actually gave me the name, Mew."

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "So you've been named a Pokemon."

(Meowth says.)

Mew: "That's , growing up with Pokemon is a lot of fun, but it was a bit difficult for me to keep up. As the years go by, and as I begin to crawl, be able to stand up, and later am able to walk. I had fun playing with all the young Pokemon and we had all kinds of fun. But as time has gone on, I've noticed how… different I was. Even though I was raised by Pokemon, as well as able to understand and even speak my language, I've noticed how I was never able to use the attacks that Pokemon can do. One day, I've decided to ask papa about it, and he told me that I was a being called a human, and they can't perform the attack Pokemon can. However, I was really stubborn and tried to perform the attacks anyway."

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "You tried to perform Pokemon attacks?"

(Meowth asks.)

Mew: "Yeah. I've even tried to have Pokemon Battle with my friends from the forest, so far, no good. However, I've never stopped trying, however, one day I got badly hurt and injured my leg. Some of my friends helped me, but I ended up crying, not just because I was hurt, but also because I can't be like a Pokemon. The night after it happened, papa explained to me how I was adopted and that I was a human and not a Pokemon. Then he told me something that really touched me. I will never forget it. He told me, 'Mew, my child. I know it's hard to accept how different you are. But just because you're not a Pokemon and can't perform the attacks, doesn't mean you can't do anything. In fact, humans can also do incredible things. But whether you are a human or a Pokemon, the most important thing to do is to be yourself. Do that, and you can do amazing things.' I decided to take papa's words to heart and instead of being something I'm not, I plan to be the best that I can be."

(Mew explains.)

Meowth: "Sounds like your papa gives good advice. So then, how did you learn how to read, write, and how to be a trainer?"

(Meowth replies.)

Mew: "Well, after that, papa as well as my Pokemon friends help me learn about the attacks each of them can use, and even many medicines and healing herbs I came in the first. Even Chansey and Mr. Mime were able to help me with stuff like that. Over time, papa also takes me outside of the forest and we watch humans from afar. I was interested to meet them, but I was kind of shy. My friends were able to get me old books, newspapers, and other stuff that humans either donate or not use anymore. They help me learn to read and I also learn how to talk. Of course, over the time, I've met Eevee, after she saved me, she decided to stay with me. In a way she and I became not just friends, but sisters. Then, almost three years ago, when I was eight, I met Gary Oak and Professor Oak. My papa, Eevee, and I went to his lab, and after discussion, I was allowed to stay with them. With their help, I've learned how to read, write, and speak even more. I learn more about Pokemon all the time and meet so many Pokemon from their corral. I even met Professor Oak, Adriana, and Daisy's Pokemon. Everyone in the Oak family is very nice to me, even if Gary teases me. Time has gone by, and I am ready to become a Pokemon Trainer."

(Mew explains.)

Meowth: "Wow. Sounds like you had challenges in your life as well."

(Meowth says.)

Mew: "Yeah. Yet, I still had a good time living with my Pokemon friends and with Gary and his family. I love papa, and I love being a trainer. However, I actually don't have much of a dream to call my own. I want to be a great Pokemon trainer, but I'm not sure what my dream is. However, I do have a few goals."

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "And what goals are that?"

(Meowth asks.)

Mew: "Well, one: I want to know more about my gift to understand Pokemon. I want to learn more about it. And second: I wonder where I came from? I never knew and I always wonder. I want to know who I was. Where I came from. And if I have a family somewhere or not. I guess I want to learn more about myself."

(Mew says.)

(He then unzips her backpack and takes out a necklace that has a white orb attached with a red ring around it.)

(and an orange half ring crossing the red one.)

Meowth: "Hmm, nice necklace."

(Meowth says.)

Mew: "Thanks. It was actually found around my neck when papa found me. He had it kept safely when I got older. I don't wear it too much. I want to keep it safe until the time comes."

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "Maybe someday, your dreams will come true, and be able to find it along with your family."

(Meowth says.)

(Mew smiles and says.)

Mew: "Thanks. Even though I may not approve of your path, maybe someday, you'll be able to find your dream, and know what you want to do."

Meowth: "Maybe, but I like being part of Team Rocket."

(Meowth says.)

(Mew then shrugs her shoulders with a smile.)

(Suddenly, Meowth and Mew senses something.)

(and look around to find themselves surrounded by a group.)

(of wild alley Meowth along with them is an alley in Persian.)

(Soon, Meowth realizes who they are and says.)

Meowth: "Hi-ya, bud."

(Mew becomes shocked to see them..)

(Meanwhile, Misty's group and the rest of Team Rocket are still searching for Mew and Meowth.)

Misty: "Mew!"

(Misty calls out.)

James: "Meowth!"

(James calls out.)

Brock: "Where are you?!"

(Brock calls out.)

Jessie: "Meowth!"

(Jessie calls out.)

Tomo: "Mew!"

(Tomo calls out.)

Pikachu: "Pika pi!" (Mew!)

(Pikachu calls out.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Where are you?!)

(Eevee calls out.)

Brock: "Where could they be?"

(Brock asks.)

Jessie: "They have to be here somewhere,"

(Jessie says.)

(Suddenly, they turn their heads to see Meowth and Mew.)

(walking with a group of wild Meowths and a Persian.)

Jessie and James: "Meowth?"

(Jessie and James say, confused.)

Misty, Brock, and Tomo: "Mew?"

(Misty, Brock, and Tomo say, confused.)

(Soon enough, the Persian and Wild Meowth take Mew to an old junkyard.)

(Mew whispers to Meowth.)

Mew: "Meowth, is this the gang you were telling me about?"

Meowth: "It's them alright,"

(Meowth whispers.)

(Then turns to the Persian and asks.)

Meowth: "So, you want me to join the old gang again, huh?"

(Persian meows saying.)

Persian: "Persian" (That's right")

Meowth: "Well, I can walk and talk like a human, so I guess I'd be pretty valuable to your operation. Ain't that right?"

(Meowth replies.)

(Then Persian asks.)

Persian: "Persian" (You interested?)

(But Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Sorry to disappoint you, pal, but I'm sticking with Team Rocket."

Persian: "Persian" (Wrong choice.)

(Persian meows, shaking his head.)

Meowth: "My mind's made up, and you're not gonna change it."

(Meowth says, not giving an inch.)

(Persian turns his head and meows.)

Persian: "Persian" (Bring her in!)

(Mew and Meowth are confused.)

(but soon Meowth becomes in shock.)

(What they both see is a female Meowth.)

(close to where the Persian and Meowth are.)

(In shock, Meowth asks.)

Meowth: "It can't be! Meowzie, what are you doing here?"

(Mew is shocked to hear this.)

(And realizes that this is the female Meowth.)

(that Meowth has fallen in love with.)

(but ended up being rejected by.)

(Question is, what is she doing here?)

(Soon enough, Meowth and Meowzie are sitting with the barrel acting as a table.)

(Still shocked, Meowth asks.)

Meowth: "What happened?"

(Meowzie explains.)

Meowzie: "Meowzie Meowzie" (You see… My trainer let me out in front of the store where we talked. She said that she didn't have money and that I had to fend for myself. Then she went in her car and drove off. Then Persian and the gang found me.)

(Since Meowth can understand Meowzie, Mew is shocked and says.)

Mew: "So Meowzie has been abandoned by her trainer."

Meowth: "You didn't want to join, did ya?"

(Meowth asks.)

(Meowzie answers as she shakes her head.)

Meowzie: "meow" (I didn't.)

Meowth: "But the rich lady left you with nothing and you had no other choice, did ya?"

(Meowth replies.)

(Meowzies shakes her head and answers.)

Meowzie: "meow" (I didn't.)

Meowth: "Well, you're not thinking of staying with them, are you?"

(Meowth asks.)

Meowzie: "meow" (Yes.)

(Meowzie answers.)

Meowth: "I can't believe it! She leaves you all alone with nobody to turn to but a bunch of bums?!"

(Meowth says angrily.)

Meowzie: "meow" (Yes.)

(Meowzie says.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "I'm getting you outta here, right now!"

(Suddenly, the Meowth gang shows up.)

(Persian question.)

Persian: "Persian" (Going somewhere?)

Meowth: "Cool it, cats! She's coming with me!"

(Meowth declares.)

Persian: "Persian" (That so? Get him, boys!)

(Persian says.)

(The alley Meowths back Meowth into a corner.)

(but before they can attack Mew steps in.)

Mew: "Stop it!"

(Mew shouts.)

Mew: "Don't you guys think you're being a little harsh."

(Mew says.)

(Persian meows.)

Persian: "Persian" (You stay out of this, human. This is between us cats.)

Mew: "Maybe I'm overstepping my boundaries, but you can't force Meowth and Meowzie to be a part of your gang, it's their choice. Sure Meowzie didn't think she had a choice at the time, but she still has a choice to be with you or not."

(Mew says.)

(Hearing Mew talking has the Persian and his Meowth gang, and Meowzie surprised.)

(Persian steps forward and asks Mew with meows.)

Persian: "Persian" (Hmm, human girl, do you understand what we're saying?)

Mew: "Um yeah,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Meowth steps forward.)

Meowth: "So what if she can understand Pokemon? It's not weird. Matter of fact, this girl has been raised by Pokemon."

(Persian then meows.)

Persian: "Persian" (Now that's interesting. A Meowth that can speak and walk like a human, and a human who has been raised by Pokemon and can understand. Quite an odd pair you two are.)

Mew: "What? Listen Mister, just because I was raised by Pokemon and can understand them, doesn't mean I'm odd. Maybe it might sound strange to you and some people, but I happen to like it. Also, we're kind of changing the subject a bit. The point is, Meowth and Meowzie get to choose how they want to live. Sure Meowzie didn't feel that she had the choice the day she was abandoned, but she still has a choice to stay in your gang or not. So maybe you should let Meowzie and Meowth choose."

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "She's right about that,"

(Meowth says with a nod.)

(Then Meowzie says.)

Meowzie: "meow" (Really? I never heard of a human that can understand Pokemon. Almost as strange as being able to talk and walk like a human.)

Meowth: "Maybe, but to tell the truth, I actually did like talking and walking like this. It was hard to teach myself how to do it, but I ended up with dreams of my own."

(Meowth says.)

Meowzie: "meow" (Really?)

(Meowzie asks, surprised.)

Meowth: "Yeah. Mew's papa told her that as long as she is herself, she'll be able to do things. I actually think he's right. Even if she is a twerp."

(Meowth says.)

Meowzie: "meow" (Twerp?)

(Meowzie meows, confused.)

(Meowth nervously laughs and says.)

Meowth: "Long story. The point is, we all have our choices on how our lives should be. Even if things don't go as planned, I still have a choice. Like, it was my choice to start acting like a human, or Mew's choice to be a trainer and continue to understand Pokemon with her gift. We live our lives the way we want, and well, I guess we should worry about what others think and such."

Meowzie: "meow" (I suppose. Now that I'm here, I've been thinking a bit about how much my life changes. And well, I ended up thinking about you a bit)

(Meowzie meows.)

Meowth: "Really?"

(Meowth asks.)

Meowzie: "meow" (Yes. It makes me think about the hardship that you went through, and well… it did make me remorseful to how I treated you… and I said a lot of hurtful things to you.)

(Meowzie sadly says.)

(Meowth smiles as he walks to Meowzie and says.)

Meowth: "It's all in the past, but still, you do have a choice to do whatever you want."

(Meowzie thinks very hard about it, and the choices do leave her skeptical.)

(Meowzie then turns to Meowth and answers with meows.)

Meowzie: "meow" (I know that living life with the gang was difficult, but… they took me in during the difficultest time of my life, and even though life was tough, I actually love being with Perisan and the other Meowth. I may not have had many options at first, but I felt that we came like a family. I want to be with them, and Persian. I want to stay)

(Meowth smiles and places his paw on Meowzie's head.)

Meowth: "I understand. They came to you when you needed help, and I guess they did become part of your lives."

Meowzie: "meow" (Are you sure you won't stay?)

(Meowzie asks.)

Meowth: "Sorry Meowzie, but I belong to Team Rocket and always will be. We just follow our own paths and see what our lives will take us."

(Meowth says.)

(Meowzie smiles and meows.)

Meowzie: "meow" (Okay.)

(Meowzie then joined up with Persian and the other Meowths.)

(After saying their goodbyes, Meowzie leaves with the rest of the gang.)

(Meowth smiles calmly and says.)

Meowth: "Bye Meowzie, I do hope we'll meet again someday."

Mew: "I'm proud of you,"

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "Thanks. But just remember, I'm still part of Team Rocket and we won't stop until we capture Pikachu and Eevee."

(Meowth says.)

(Mew rolls her eyes.)

Mew: "You wish."

Brock: "Mew!"

(Brock's voice calls out.)

Misty: "Mew!"

(Misty's voice calls out.)

Jessie and James: "Meowth!"

(Jessie and James voice call out.)

(Meowth and Mew turn their heads to see the rest of Team Rocket and Mew's friend hurrying towards them.)

Mew: "Hey guys!"

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "Jessie! James!"

(Meowth says, relieved.)

Pikachu: "Pika pi!" (Mew!)

(Pikachu happily says.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (You're safe!)

(Eevee happily says.)

(With that Pikachu and Eevee jump into Mew's arm and they snuggle her cheeks.)

(Jessie, James, and Meowth hug each other and start crying.)

Misty: "We're glad you're okay,"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "You're not hurt are you?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "No. I'm fine,"

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "Hey twerp!"

(Meowth calls out.)

(Mew and her friends turn to see Meowth with Jessie and James.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "We'll call it a day, but we'll be back to swipe your Pokemon."

(With that, Team Rocket runs off as they shout.)

Team Rocket: "Team Rocket's running off again!"

(Soon, Mew and her friends take their leave.)

Misty: "So Mew, are you sure you're okay? You were with Meowth after all."

(Misty asks.)

Brock: "So what happened?"

(Brock asks.)

Mew: "Well, Meowth and I simply talk to each other about stuff. And well, we actually learn a bit from each other."

(Mew says.)

(Then giggles and says.)

Mew: "Turns out me and Meowth are a bit similar, but we're still very different."

(Misty, and the boys look at each other with confused looks.)

(Mew continues to walk with a smile on her face.)

(Later that night, Meowth is on a roof looking at the moon.)

Meowth: "Well, maybe Meowzie and Mew are looking at the moon, too."

(Meowth replies.)

(He can't help but smile as he watches the moon in the night sky.)
