Chapitre 221: Hidden pain

A few hours ago….

As Lewis got accustomed to seeing Ava everyday in the office, he was waiting for her near Kevin's cabin.

" Why is she late today? " He thought while looking at the elevator.

Just then, he noticed Ava coming out of the elevator along with Kevin. 

" Good morning …." He greeted both of them.

Instead of greeting back, she gave a simple smile and took her seat at her desk outside Kevin's cabin. He found sadness in her eyes. He doesn't understand why she looked so gloomy. Slowly he walked towards Kevin as if he was going to meet him on some work. He noticed she was lost in her thoughts as if she was not even ready to sense some presence in front of her. 

To not get any doubts, he stayed a few minutes in Kevin's cabin and came out of the cabin. Then he found her crying while looking at her mobile. 

As soon as she sensed the door closing sound, she wiped her tears with the back of her palms.
