Chapitre 36: Erik's Destiny
----Erik POV-----
It has been a few months since I found this group of big cats. Sabertooth. I know my father was murdered by someone who worships Black Panther but a black panther can never be an opponent of a Sabertooth.
These big cats were the true rulers of this area of the mountain. I found them once sneaking upon a huge dinosaur. It was unbelievable to see how easily they captured such huge prey. They will fight in groups but also, every hunting member was powerful alone. I wanted to be such a beast in future. A sabertooth. Someone that can easily defeat a panther.
I was trying to understand their habits, their skills of hunting when today everything went wrong. These guys were attacked by a group of other dinos. This was a war for the land and these big guys no matter how much they tried to hold on were surrounded by a huge number of these dinos.
I found a baby sabertooth who would have died if I left it alone. So, I stupidly grabbed it and ran towards our base but they had blocked the path. I had no chance but to run towards the caves in the mountain. These bastards were chasing me. I know I am going to die now.
'Stupid, Stupid! Always bring your weapons. Think before you act. Never give in at impulse. Always plan an escape route. How could I forget everything I learned from uncle Bucky? Steve will hate me now. Fuck!' I kept running and escaping while these dinos were after me. I found a cave that had a narrow entry and it was the best possible escape route for me. I must run inside.
----30 MINUTES LATER-----
I am inside the cave. Thanks to the small space, these big dinos can't come inside but a few of them have decided to wait outside the cave blocking me. I can't go out and they can't come inside. The baby cat looks angry and keeps growling at them. The cat lost its father to the big guys who invaded their homes and now he is just like me.
I try very hard not to cry. I will not die before I kill that damn Panther! I pick up a few stones and throw them on the outside Dinos. They get angry and want to attack me but they can't enter.
I put the baby cat on my shoulder hoping, it won't attack me suddenly. I try to pick a bigger stone when suddenly it moves sideways and I fell down inside this huge hole. I tightly hug the baby cat while we are falling down. I fell on some stones and bounced and then we both fell in this river.
The water was too strong and I am still new to swimming. I tried to grab the baby cat but somehow it fell somewhere in the river when we fell. I take a deep breath and search inside the river and there it is. The baby cat is trying hard to swim but he is just too weak. No, I am not going to let you die.
I try to get close to it and somehow grabbed it by its paws. The river is slowing down now and I see some huge plants. I grabbed a thick vine that was in the water and managed to drag us up. We are alive now. Injured, hungry but alive.
I spent a long time breathing trying to calm my breathing and this cat jumped on me and licked my face like a puppy. I think I got myself a pet. A huge sabertooth pet. It's tiny and cute now.
We both get up. I look around this area. This is a small area full of dark black walls. The walls feel like those crystals uncle Phil had in his lab. Vibranium, he called it. I see a small plant with some fruits on it. I am really hungry and picked a few of these. I gave one to my cat but I know it won't be anything except meat. Picky fellow.
It tastes nice and warm. I ate a couple more and found a spot near an area with thick leaves. I lay down thee feeling sleepy.

Erik fell down a hole in the cave and somehow managed to bring himself around the centre of vibranium mountain. At the core, there were mutated plants and vines and he managed to grab one to save his life. He ate enough fruits to fill his stomach.
The small cat, his new friend, found a spot near plants drank the water from there and managed to grab itself a small fish. Both the cat and Erik ate their belly full and now, both were floating into the spirit land.
In MCU there are many gods. However, among these, there is a mention of a special one. BAST. It's a beast god. BAST is the true guardian deity of Wakanda and has blessed its kings with its powers and allowed their spirits to live in the space near the Panther tribe. It's because of their belief and spiritual energy she received, that she is still alive whereas other gods have perished.
Today she received another soul of the Wakandan royal family. A young child who came here before his time. His destiny is in chaos and his energy is transforming. She for the first time since she achieved her godhood, saw such a situation. The boy just like his predecessors is emotionally linked to her family but something is definitely strange.
"He is alive but not for long. As his body is like a seed but has the energy of a tree. The body will burst and he will die. What should I do?" she thought.
His spirit rejects the panthers and calls for the ancient ones. She tried to see his memories and was shocked to see a world where the ancient beasts were still alive. He has chosen his faith and a small Sabertooth girl chose him. A beast and a human have linked their souls tightly and their future may shake Wakanda.
She smiled and gave her blessing to this child. She had enough of the old kings and princes who worshipped her like a god but failed to increase her faith. Maybe this boy will start a new chapter.
She laughed and picked the souls of the boy and the ancient beast that was floating in the primordial sky. She divided a small part of the spirit that will prevent the energy from overflowing in his body but will provide constant nourishment. Her gift will help him to communicate with his new beast.
"It's not your time little prince. May you bring me a new source of faith in your true coming. My spirit shall live inside yours and you shall receive my blessings. But death shall come if abused or misused, so let's see what shall you choose." Bast said and both the spirit of Erik and the cat floated back to their bodies.
Their bodies which were glowing like in a gold-orange light dimmed and became normal. During this time, there were shots fired above the ground and Steve descended via a rope to the river base.
"I found him," Steve shouted to the team that was following him.
Phil and Bucky came and were relieved to see Erik alive. Phil also noticed the area he was surprised to see glowing fruits and fishes in this small part of the land near the river. He already had a guess in his mind. This must be the mutated species closest to the vibranium ore and had mutated extensively like the hear shaped grass.
"I think it's time to take our baby Tarzan back home," Bucky said while trying to pick Erik.
Before he could react, a small sabertooth baby attacked him and tackled him to the ground. Erik opened his eyes and saw his baby cat fighting his uncle Bucky.
"Stop, we are safe little guy. This is family." He said while running in the arms of his father. He knew his father, Steve, didn't give up on him and abandoned him. He came here with the entire team to look for him. He is safe again with his family.
They all fail to notice a tattoo of a cat on the feet of both Erik's and the cat. This was the adventure of Erik for he found his destiny in the most mysterious way of Gaea.

ayrus2011 Final Update for today. I think five chapters in one day is more than enough for everyone. I would love it if you guys give ratings or power stones or leave some comments in the same way.
This ark will not be too long but will follow the story of the individual experiences of many characters in Savage Land. The Shadow Isles shall be the key point in future when the Iron Man story starts.
