Chapter 1
In a citadel filled with clocks in the ghost zone resided Clockwork. He could see all that could be, all that would be, and all that may be. Nothing less can be expected from the master of all times.
He was rarely if ever surprised, he had seen all eventualities and what each choice will lead to. He had an entire view of the multiverse. Yet, he was surprised.
Danny had come with his friends after his attempts to make sure that Dan Phantom was never created. It was in his despair that Danny had fused with the ghost side of Plasmius and then had killed his human side. For Afterall, it is those who love deeply are those who become the greatest monsters.
Each ghost has an obsession. Some like the Box ghost who is obsessed with boxes, Ember Mclain obsessed with being a Rockstar. A ghost's obsession is something which drives it and allows it to move forward. There powerset is based around their obsession. Danny was such a ghost. His obsession is to protect. An anomaly who fused with the ghost dimension. Living and yet dead, a half ghost and half human, a bridge between the two states of life. So when he could not protect his loved ones. He lost his obsession. Not wanting to feel the pain and emptiness , he decided to throw away his human side and so Dan Phantom was born.
Before, Clockwork had been given a mission. He had to eliminate Danny, if he could achieve such a thing then Dan would never have existed. Hence, he could then interfere. Afterall, in such a case Dan would exist outside time and space. But, what's the fun in that. Events had to be set in motion. The effect will be achieved but the cause had to be different.
Clockwork never interfered directly, he may nudge people in different directions. But he could not directly interfere. That was why, he knew what was gonna happen next and was prepared for it.
Out stepped young Danny and his Friends Sam and Tucker. So the children were here. He had been expecting this visit for a long time. And so they fought. Young Tucker managed to find out the trick with the medallion and escape with his friends.
A smile graces Clockwork's face. All according to plan. Hopefully, this would be enough.
And so Clockwork watches as Danny sees his fate. Realizing what would happen. And yet the boys first thought are about his family. The grief accompanied by the fact that he could not protect them. So the boy returns but instead of facing Dan, he comes to clockwork first.
An unexpected development, he could see how Time plays out. He could see the effects and turn what can and may happen. Yet, this is beyond his expectations. Young Fenton came to make a deal with him. He agrees to anything that clockwork may subject him to. Anything and everything. He just wants his family to be safe.
Clockwork agreed. So much of what can or what may be. He watches as Danny shows up to face Dan. Both sides begin to engage in battle. At this moment, Clockwork laughed at the irony of life. Sometimes, we ourselves are our own greatest enemies. Of what we can become, of the fear, of the hesitation. Yet, this was all supposed to be metaphorical. And here he is seeing such a saying brought about to be in such a literal sense. The ultimate enemy.
Dan manages to Triumph in the end and yet he is a little bit too late. Even when he had trapped Dan in the Fenton Thermos. Dan, afterall is no slouch either. A tactician if he can be called one. He did manage to bring the entire world to its knees within ten years. And so it was time of Clockwork to interfere once more. The potential for good for young Danny was too much.

Danny looked on in fear. Willing for any energy from his ghost core. Yet, he cannot transform. He cannot save them. Time is Ticking down, five, Four, three, Two , one and time stopped. A child clockwork had appeared before him.
Clockwork points towards his family.
"You saved them. I don't understand."
Clockwork turning into his adult form.
"The observants look at time as if they are watching a parade. One thing after another passing by in front of them like a sequence. I see the parade from above, all the twists and turns it might and might not take.". Clockwork looked at him in his old form and winked.
"You knew everything, even this part."
"Not everything, Sometimes time cannot even predict a few events. Your approach for a deal to save your family was one of them. Look at you, a 14 year old boy, risking everything the people he loves."
Clockwork turns into his child form. "Do the right thing, you have half a year to prepare for another journey. TIME IN"
Just before the test took place.
Clockwork in his man from reminded Fentom, "You have given everyone of your enemies a second chance. Why not give yourself one as well."

"You violated the protocols, you interfered directly." The observants said.
"You don't care about that do you. The boy surprised you as well. You need the boy."
"The actions of young Fenton were certainly unexpected." A female voice said.
The female voice belonged to a Celestialsapien. For a Celestialspaien stayed out of mortal matters. However, across the multiverse a multitude of changes were happening. Countless universes were completely out of balance. They were spiraling towards destruction. Young Fenton could be used to save one such universe, maybe others as well.
The observants stepped backwards allowing/leaving Clockwork to deal with them.
Dratax the voice of creativity, Landre the vioce of control and Gorton the voice of wonder made up the three voices of the Celestialsapiens.
"You shall be resposible for him. You shall teach him." Three voices echoes out in tandem with each other. Unnerving for other people but certainly not for Clockwork.
"I know but I know everything that has or will ever happen." Clockwork turned into his young form.
"And yet Fenton's action were outside your prediction."
A smile graces an older Clockwork face as he says. "I know"

Clockwork again turns his eyes once again towards the adventures of young Daniel Fenton.
Young Danny's adventures were still filled with so much heart. And so he took his responsibilities seriously, training as well as advising the young halfa. This iteration of him was just as noble as any other but his actions were different. In small ways but those actions made all the difference. He has still not told his parents or his friends about the time limit enforced upon him. Yet, he spent as much time as he could with them.
When he began to awaken his Cyrokinesis powers, Clockwork sent him to the Far Frozen. Young Fenton may not realise it but he had become a celebrity in the ghost zone due to his victory over Pariah Dark. His life was certainly entertaining. His friendship with Frostbite was heartwarming.
King Danny as Frostbite took to calling him. Now that certainly had a nice ring to it. Maybe clockwork thought that he should tease the Young Fenton regarding that fact.
Danny was approached by Dani, his clone. And yet here again, Young Danny managed to suprise.
When Vlad's deception was revealed. For the first time Danny was truly angry. After the beatdown when Young Dani said that she intended to travel the world and see more of it. Danny refused such a suggestion. Danny certainly had a protective streak a mile long.
He sat down his parents and friends. He revealed all of his secrets to them. The fact that he was a halfa, a half ghost. Clockwork could see the expectation and the fear the young halfa was experiencing. And yet his parents hugged him, telling him that they were proud of him.
They did that before exploding at him for risking his life and not telling them before. He also got grounded for a few weeks.
Danny then revealed Young Dani to them. When they heard about Vlad's actions. At first they did not want to believe him but when he explained all the dangers they faced because of Vlad more. His parents began to put two and two together. Connections were drawn and to say that his parent were displeased would be an understatement.
Maddie, young Danny's mother almost started to use a few ionized cannons on the Vlad mansion. However, Jack Fenton in a rare case of intelligence stopped her. Danny Fenton choose that moment to tell them about the deal with me. Hahaha that made me popular instantly, no one yet has made any claim to capturing me. This was truly entertaining. I hear the sound of munching popcorn. The Celestialsapien is with me munching on some popcorn. I grab a few and began to eat with them. I guess they(the Celestialsapien) also find this entertaining.
Young Danny managed to talk them down. Still so entertaining. Danny's family decided to adopt Young Dani. Another unexpected surprise.
A meteorite was on a collision course with earth. Danny managed to rally all his enemies and friends to protect his planet. His family created the pylon. Their combined power together managed to make the planet intangible. And so the meteorite passed through earth. Everyone now knew who he was and they saw him for the hero he truly was.
'Its time', Clockwork thought.
