I whistled as I picked up my car keys at the table before making my way out of the house.

Just like most of the days, the house was empty. My mother was out for some retreat, while my younger brother wouldn’t be returning home until two weeks later.

There was a vacation school at his school, so he would be attending lessons until then. As for my older brother, he was working and preferred staying closer to work.

Mother was usually bored at home, and with the friends she had made, she was out enjoying life. Leaving me by myself at home.

Fortunately, it was Saturday, a weekend and also a weekend that Alisha happened to be very free.

So, the two of us were going out for a weekend outing and spending some quality time together.

Alisha just finished her school business on Thursday, so she was no longer swamped with work, making it easier for me to spend some time with her.
