The hallways of the First Imperial School's second-year building were dead silent. The students had long locked themselves in their dorms after the lectures ended over 8 hours ago.

Walking along one of the many corridors of the dormitory wing of the building, a tall man dressed in long black robes that dragged on the floor when he walked was groaning from time to time.

"Tsk! That old hag!" Verner grunted to himself as he thought about what happened the previous day.

The result of his confrontation with his grandmother were the black bruises that now adorned his cheeks and parts of his neck.

'It wouldn't have killed her if she had at least healed me after she tried to murder me,' he thought to himself.

'Now I probably have to walk around everywhere wearing a bloody scarf!'

After walking for 5 more minutes, Verner finally came to a stop at a door that had a huge, 'F*UCK OFF!' sign on it.
