"Ah, ah, ah... Looks like the battle over there is getting intense!"
"Sister Hancock is out—poor guys don't stand a chance."
"Of all the Emperors they could've picked a fight with, they had to choose us? They're really asking for trouble."
The impact of Kuma's Ursa Shock echoed across half of Wano.
Even Robin and the others in the Flower Capital could hear the deafening explosion. Those who had mastered Armament and Observation Haki could clearly sense the massive surge of energy from the explosion's direction.
Perona and the others couldn't help but feel sorry for the three sworn brothers, unaware of their true intentions. The brothers hadn't come to Wano simply to challenge a Sea Emperor for fame in the New World; they were here to help Momonosuke reclaim Wano's throne and find the road to the last island—Raftel's Road Poneglyph.
Knowing the power of their own allies, the women could only pity these outsiders.
The truth was, the three sworn brothers were indeed outmatched. Had Wano still been the Beasts Pirates' territory, the brothers and their crew could likely have challenged Kaido's forces. After all, with Luffy's help, they were certain of victory over the Beasts Pirates.
Among everyone, no one had luck and talent as unparalleled as these three. But unfortunately for them, they'd chosen to face the only person in this world capable of countering the "Child of Destiny."
A Destiny Villain would typically be a stepping stone for the Child of Destiny. But this wasn't the case for a time-traveller with knowledge of the plot.
With his knowledge and his head start of over ten years, Kahn saw through their intentions. If the three brothers could defeat him, Kahn figured he might as well end it himself. In truth, Kahn didn't see them as a threat.
If he'd truly wanted to, he could have teamed up with Hancock to ensure his victory. But instead, he simply sent Hancock, a perfected warrior and a Seraphim, to finish the job.
When the dust from the Ursa Shock settled, the coast was a wreck. The explosion had left an enormous crater stretching out into the sea. The shockwave was so strong it pushed the Thousand Sunny back a considerable distance.
If it hadn't been made from Adam Wood—the world's hardest and most prized timber—the Sunny would have been reduced to ashes by that blast.
While the Sunny held up, several of the pirates caught in the Ursa Shock's centre weren't so lucky. Many, especially those from the Spade Pirates and Sabo's weaker subordinates, were reduced to ashes.
It's uncertain if he inherited his father's resilience or if he was subjected to some giant experiment that granted him unusually high defence.
At the centre of the explosion, Momonosuke survived, shielded by Raizo and Kin'emon. But the shockwave pierced his body, much like how Marines were struck by Whitebeard's Tremor-Tremor Fruit at Marineford. Blood seeped from his eyes, ears, and nose as he rolled his eyes and collapsed, barely hanging onto life.
Similarly, Chopper, Usopp, and Brook—three of the weakest members of the Straw Hat Pirates—were knocked out by the impact, unable to withstand Kuma's Ursa Shock.
"Chopper! Usopp! Brook! Everyone!!"
Seeing their fallen crewmates, the three sworn brothers who had narrowly avoided the impact—along with Zoro and Sanji—shouted in fury. Glaring at Hancock, Perfect Twelve, and Little Hawkeye, they ground their teeth and cursed.
Hancock, cold and unbothered, scoffed at their anger. "Why so upset?"
With her usual disdain, she continued, "Did you come to the New World without asking about Wano and the Cross Family?"
"If you knew the Cross Family, you'd understand the laws of Wano's waters. Anyone entering without permission is considered an intruder. If you're willing to trespass, you'd better be prepared to die."
Ace, Sabo, Zoro, and Sanji fell silent. Only Luffy, ever defiant, shouted, "Wano belongs to Momonosuke!"
Hancock sneered. "And yet, with that brain of yours, the Marines put a bounty of 1.6 billion berries on your head. It's laughable." She narrowed her eyes, a mocking smile on her lips. "Do you even realize your bounty is that high because of your heritage?"
She pressed on. "By your logic, wasn't Wano 'stolen' by the Kozuki family? Or does this island's rightful owner have to be the first creature born here? Humans are just thieves."
"Y-You…!" Luffy stammered, caught off guard by her reasoning.
Hancock, now bored, put a hand on her hip. "The Cross Family has seen plenty of hot-blooded rookies like you. If you're here for our 'treasures,' spare me the self-righteous speeches. If you want revenge, prove it with strength. Otherwise, this sea will become your grave…"
As she finished speaking, Hancock's figure flashed, transforming into a streak of purple lightning. In an instant, she appeared behind Luffy, her leg gleaming with a dangerous violet light as she swung a devastating kick.
*Boom!*
She moved so quickly that even Luffy, with his ability to glimpse the future, couldn't react in time. He barely managed to cross his arms and coat them with Armament Haki to brace for impact.
But Hancock's kick, infused with powerful violet lightning, was too overwhelming. The force pierced his rubber defenses, sending waves of pain through his arms as the energy broke through his guard.
Within moments, Luffy's arms went numb, paralyzed by the impact. Hancock's kick, akin to Kizaru's Light Speed Kick, unleashed a shockwave that sent him flying back like an arrow, a brilliant purple beam trailing behind him.
*BOOM!*
Luffy soared a great distance, finally crashing into the ground, a mushroom cloud of purple light rising in his wake. When the dust settled, Luffy—worth a bounty of 1.6 billion berries—lay unconscious, eyes rolled back from a single kick.
It was like Kaido's Thunder Bagua all over again.
